Hello,
I also couldn't flash it.
When I tried to install, the process that try to descompress gnu-tar, I think, shows me a messages like "permission denied" and stops the installation. I, and all poodle users, would like a little guide more detailed how to intall.
For example, I have a question, is it necessary to install from CF to SD ? Or can I have the kernel, update.sh ,etc .. on SD and install to SD ?

Thanks for all.

That should make things more clear:

Hello,

a good guidelines. Thanks.

I follows the instructions and I have the same results. Exactly the message is, after formating the SD , "Extracting sdimage1.tgz". This can take up to 30m! /tmp/updateupdater.sh: ./gnu-tar: permission denied".

I try to do from CF to SD, formating and not. And from SD without format, of course, :-). And I have always the same results.

Thanks for all,

Sounds like your CF is ext2 formatted and gnu-tar is missing the execute bit?

Edit: I'll chmod +x gnu-tar automatically in future versions of the updater

Hello,

you are right, that was the problem.
I've changed the permission of gnu-tar and now it is installing.

Thanks for your answers and your work,

I've test OZ 3.5.4RC with GPE on my poodle (5600) and I've seen a "little" bug.
When I click on the screen, the pointer goes to another part of the screen. If I click down then the pointer goes up to the screen, like a mirror. I've tried to re-calibrate and nothing, :-(

Can you add this to the bug tracker please (if you haven't already).

Hello,

I've bought a wireless compact flash for my Z 5600 and I want to connect to internet sharing my wired connection of my centrino that it has wireless. How I can do ?

I'm going to explaim my conguration:
Z has wlan0 interface with ip 172.26.0.4
Centrino has eth0 (wired) interface with ip 172.26.0.2 and eth1 (wireless) with ip 172.26.0.3
Router ADSL 172.26.0.1

Now, I can ping from Z to 172.26.0.2 and 172.26.0.3 but I can't ping to router.

If anyone could explain me how I can connect to internet ?

Thanks
