Zaurus - pdaXrom / Hardware problems with pdaXrom..
« on: February 24, 2005, 12:24:05 pm »
My linksys PKW-WCF12 has a problem, I have no issues connecting to a 802.11b base station, but as soon as I try to connect to a 802.11g station the card refuses to connect (even at .b speeds), other cards in laptops and the like have no problems at all.

Am I using the correct drivers? does anyone else have this problem?? Any quick fixes??

Thx,
  Alex

The error that I get is:

cardmgr[130]: executing: './hermes start eth0 2>&1'
cardmgr[130]: + Error for wireless request "Set Frequency" (8B04) :

Sharp ROMs / Wireless Ess-id With A Space
« on: January 19, 2005, 10:12:33 am »
Sorry to bother, the network config GUI does not seem to allow spaces in the ESS-ID.  I have a wireless at work with a space in the ID and I cant get on to it.

I've tried editing the /etc/pcmcia/wlan-ng.conf but it does not seem to actually _do_ anything.

Sharp ROMs / Wireless Peap - Leap
« on: January 19, 2005, 10:08:29 am »
Anyone have any luck with PEAP or LEAP wireless authentication?  I would like to be able to use my wireless card at school (actually one of the reasons I bought the bloody thing).

I've tried the AEGISClient but I have a feeling that they only support the internal wireless of the SL-6000 series since it does not allow me to choose anything other than MD5.

Thanks,
  Alexandre Beaudoin
