Software / QPSword Questions

Hi I installed qsword into my internal flash memory and was trying to move the /usr/share/sword to /mnt/cf/usr/share/sword.

I think I had linked the files in the following manner
ln -s /mnt/card/usr/share/sword /usr/share/sword.
Linking the reverse way granted me a Operation not permitted reply though.

After which, I installed the rsv ipk and was trying to install into my cf memory but it rejects saying that it required usage of main memory.  I even changed the DataPath in etc/sword.conf to that of .mnt/cf/usr/share/sword but to no avail.

With manual commang ipkg install sword_rsv.ipk -d /mnt/cf/usr/share/sword yielded error in not able to find package /usr/lib/ipkg/lists

I suspect my ln is not executed properly.  Has anyone install both qsword and the books modules into the cf memory instead of the internal flash memory?  Btw, is there a workable version of BibleTime on zaurus.  Am using C860.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi thanks for your tip. I tried running on command line and realized that the path in the script was written for evm and plus it was pointing to the wrong path.  No wonder it didn't work.  Got it to work finally. Yippy, now can revise. Thanks.

I've compiled the complete (4 levels, nearly 10,000 words) vocabulary necessary to pass the Nihongo Nouryoku Shiken (Japanese Language Proficiency Test), in the form of a Java application usable on the Zaurus SL-Cxxx series. The IPK package, snapshot, download (less than 80 ko) are all on this page: JLPT vocabulary application page.

Hi, I downloaded the JLPT for revision but when I clicked on it, it does not start up at all.  I'm on C860, ROM 1.4, Personal Profile v1.0-fcs-b25. Have been searching for info regarding such errors but no avail.  Would really appreciate if there are directions to rectify this fault.  Thanks.

General Discussion / Does the C860 have SDIO?

Hi, newbie with my C860 and was so excited over the SDIO in PC show that I just bought it.  Drivers are weird as it does not come in ipk format altho it says it support linux.  Any updates to this thread on the SDIO driver?

Singapore/Malaysia / Searching For Wifi Cf Card

Hi, any idea where in Singapore can I get a combatible CF Wifi card for C860? So far, most I have seen only supports Windows CE.  Any ideas?
