C1000/3x00 General discussions / Alternative Roms Working?

has anyone tried to get any of these roms working or are their any alt. roms working? i've looked all over the forums and i see the same question asked and i also see a few people working on getting it compatible with the c3000 but has any progress been made?

i'm feeling my zaurus is a bit useless right now, i put debian on the internal drive and thats about it. can't get any movies to work... and i'm sick of looking at this ugly Qtopia gui...

hey everyone,

i'm still very new to my c3000 and linux especially. (a friend of mine installed linux for me on my desktop computer and i can figure a few things out myself but i'm not an expert)

i'm wondering how easy would it be to take debian off of my c3000 or how easy it would be to clean my system and refresh it back to defaults after i've installed debian?

is their a guide out there that shows how to?
