Dear Euroclie,

Thansk a lot for your answer. In fact, the file was in its origin a .xls, but I was not allowed to attach a file with this extension in the forum, so I converted it to .txt.

You converted it back to .xls and the size you indicate is the same as the original file, so your test is indeed useful for me.

The result is scary, to say the least. I have used the same file on a HP Jornada 720 and here the load time was 10 seconds, scrolling from column to column and even paging down one page at a time was very smooth, without any delay. The cell search time was 10-15 seconds and that was also to much for me. On a business trip I was working in a group wtih this file and we had to do a lot of searches to make some decisions, but we gave up.

But the Z is much slower I can understand. To bad. I think I will have the Samsung Nexio tested as well.

Thank you again and best regards

Henrik Hagstrøm

[ Invalid Attachment ] Hi there,

I'm considering buying the Z3000, but I would like to know how fast the cell search time is in the spread sheet program.

Could someone please loade the attached file on their Z 3000, do a few cell searches and tell me what the search time is.

I would really appreciate this help.

Best regards from

Hi,

I'm considering buying a Z SL C3000, but wonder about the cell searh time in the built in spread sheet.

I use spread sheets a lot and quite big ones. More than 10.000 rows.

Perhaps one of you C3000 owners could load a sample spread sheet for me and give me a search time answer.

I would appreciate it very much.
