5x00 General discussions / Sell Sl5600 Pxa255
« on: July 24, 2005, 03:28:18 pm »
Hi!
I want to sell my Z. But as I don't find something similar on Ebay, I
would like on opinion on how much will I get for it, to define the Buy
Now option and to define de reservation price.
This are the charateristics:
Zaurus SL5600 PXA255 (the procecessor without the bug);
Linksys Wi-Fi CF (model WCF12);
Digital Camera Sharp CE-AG06;
Memory Card CF 32MB, Sandisk (good for flashing the ROM);
If anybody could give me an opinion, I would appreciate much.
Thank you.
PS: Everything is working in perfect conditions.

if all you want is speed on oz, just recompile the oz kernel without the cachebug workaround. you'll be just as fast.

Hi!
I really would like to know how-to compile the kernel.
I have a debian system and I know how to compile a normal kernel.
Can anybody tell me, step-by-step, how to compile the kernel and what is needed to put it working on the Zaurus?
I would appreciate that.
Thanks!

Hi!
I would like to know if there is anyone with the special kernel for the SL-5600 PXA2PXA255 that works with Wi-Fi.
The thing is, the kernel is very fast, but the wi-fi cards are not detected.
I don't think that there is anybody with the special kernel and Wi-Fi (CF) working.
Thanks

Portugal / Afinal quantos somos??
« on: May 02, 2005, 06:41:03 pm »
Yo!

Angstrom & OpenZaurus / How Kernel Handles Pxa255 On 5600?
« on: May 02, 2005, 06:26:45 pm »
Yo!
I've got the same problem with the PXA255 Kernel + WiFi (Linksys wcf12)
I haven't heard about anyone that has WiFi working with the PXA255 Kernel.
It's a pitty because it's very fast.
I'll be wating for the geeks to have time to solve the problem

Hi!
I'm a OZ user and I decided to give a try to Watapon.
It looks very good and everything is working fine. Anyway I have two questions:
-How come that the / partitions is almost empty? In the OZ is almost full with aproximately the same amount of software.
-I installed Media Player package from Watapon feed. The problem is that all the options from Media Player menu are deactivated. This way I can't play anything. Am I doing anything wrong?
Thank you

1. The true / partition is almost stuffed, but it read-only, like all Sharp-based ROMs, so what you're seeing is the almost-empty nature of the /home partition.

2. I suggest using Kino2 from dreadlocks' feed as a media player.

Hi!
Thanks for the info.
Is [a href=\"http://www.nayr.net/zaurus/feed/]http://www.nayr.net/zaurus/feed/[/url] the dreadlocks feed?
If it is, it is not working (23:00 GMT 2005-04-28).
If its another, can anybody tell me?
Thanks
