I have a new (2week old) SL-6000. I would like to seel it for $450 or possably trade with someone who has a SL-750 or 760. I am really new to linux and there seems to be so much more support on the web for the older Z's. The Sl-6000 is in excellent condition.

Snowy... my bad.  Add your wireless card, and then add a LAN card.  Make sure the Lan card is checked and the Wireless Lan isn\'t.  Then click on connect.  A popup box will come up asking what service you want to use.  Choose your WiFi card.  Then it should connect.

Thanks CoreyC.  Got it working by doing this   , but also I\'d installed the hostapp wireless drivers ipk which was preventing it from working!  Once this was removed, the card came up.  What\'s the hostapp wireless ipk for?

Try adding a LAN card too and make sure both are checked.

Nope, that doesn\'t seem to help.  When I insert the Symbol card, it\'s recognised and the network globe icon appears, but when I click on it to start the network up it says connection failed, even when I\'m right next to my wifi AP.  :cry:   Works fine under OZ, so there must be something about the software I\'m not doing right.  Any ideas?

Flashed my C700 with the new ROM - looks great as usual!

One question.  I\'d like to use my Symbol wireless card with it - it\'s recognised when I plug it in, and I\'ve configured a standard WiFi network for it, but I get \"connection failed\" whenever I try to use it.  Is there something else I need to do to get this working?  It worked fine under OZ 3.3.5 in the same C700, so I know the hardware\'s all fine.

Zaurus - pdaXrom / digitizer for new rom

woah, that was a month ago.. I havent used the X11 rom since then.. I\'m using tkc ROM right now, which suits me fine.

Is there a newer verison of the X11 ?

I know it was a while ago - it\'s just that I had the same problem and wondered if you\'d found a fix for it.  Presumably not...

I think the latest version of the X11 ROM is from December 2003 which is probably the one you were using.

Zaurus - pdaXrom / digitizer for new rom

when I tap and hold, the cursor jumps from left to right of my stylus  :cry:

I get exactly this problem with OpenZaurus.  Somewhere I saw a fix for this that involved changing some value in a conf file somewhere, but I didn\'t need it at the time, and can\'t now find it  :?

Did you find a fix for this on yours?  Mine appears to be something like the digitizer being configured to be over sensitive.
