General Discussion / stalled file uploads

This must be a really common problem. I find that I can transfer smallish files no problem (internal and CF memory). When I attempt to transfer a large .wav file from the pda it appears that the transfer times out.

I imagine there is a config file somewhere with a timing option.


Come on you computer heads, there is enough quedos in this one!!

Just a quick thanks for all the posts you put up!

How interesting! Exactly the same issue happened to me at work. I had to be rescued by the helpdesk. But rest assured it was fixed.

Apparently, Windows will only search if the file extensions are registered in the registry.

I saw a print out from the MS support pages in the fixers hot little hand.

So search the MS knowledge base and you never know your luck.

Windows Issues / Mapping Zaurus as a Windows disk drive

I am having trouble implementing this "really simple thing to do"

I am not running Linux at all and wish to connect a Win98 machine directly to the Zaurus via a USB connection.

My connection seems to be OK as I can sync easily enough. I would like to use USB networking to access the CF card as a disk drive.

Can this be done?

If so, could I have some Linuxless instructions?
