a little notice: gpsp rocks, it's fast, stable and well written, so if you wonna play sonic or other games just play GBA version (if present) on gpsp

Are you saying that you actually got gpsp to run on your zaurus at a decent speed? How did you do it? I just tried the ipk available at  suhami.net and couldn't get any GBA games to play with it.

That would be a good addition to pdaxrom.
It works beautifully under cacko/sharp.
For RPG fans there is the Phantasy Star series.
The only game in this series that is missing on the zaurus is Phantasy Star 1.
It needs to be played on the Sega Master system and I'm not sure if there is an emulator for the Master system that works on the zaurus.
Under cacko/sharp, Cresho has put together a very nice package in this thread.

So far, I have Phantasy Star 2, 3 & 4 working on my cacko setup.

I just added the SMS Plus/SDL Sega master system emulator to the new packackages thread. I haven't tried Phantasy Star yet but every other game I've tried seems to work. Don't know if it'll work  on the Cacko ROM though.

I couldn't find any Sega master system emulators for pdaXrom, so I compiled SMS Plus/SDL. I changed the default key mappings for the buttons from c,v, and enter to Lshift, z, and space because c and v are too far in the middle of the keyboard and enter gets hit by accident too often because of the ok in the middle of the directional arrows on my C1000. I even made it so you can change the key mappings from the command line with --btn1 --btn2 --btnstart using the numeric codes from SDL_sym.h (http://www.koders.com/c/fid8D6280AEFC1089A8F98EB34B12BA678E634E5C6A.aspx). I'm not a programmer though, so maybe I broke something but it appears to be working fine. Let me know if not.

Has anyone gotten kismet running on pdaxrom beta3 with ambicom wl-1100 card?

If yes, can you post the kismet.conf file here so I can get working copy.

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Beta3 And Vpnc Anyone Get It To Work?

Hello,
         Just wondering if anyone has managed to get vpnc to work under beta3. I'm having trouble with it not being able to use the tun device. I'm guessing this is because there is no tun.o kernel module. Anyone know where I can get the module?

I have two small issues in RC12 running on a C1000 that I was wondering if anyone had a fix for.

1. When you switch video modes from 640x480 to 320x240 and then back the icons next to the clock disappear. I either have to exit and restart X or open the look & feel app and click ok to get them back.

2. Sometimes, when I have an app open and displayed on the screen and I suspend when I power on again the app will disappear. It won't be under the active tasks, but I can still see it with ps.

Anyone else notice that they can't start aterm from the panel while firefox is running? xvkbd will still start. I'm running RC12 on a C1000

You should just be able to hold whatever button is mapped as your right mouse click and click. That's how I can scroll up or to the left in tightvnc on my C1000. Does right click work for you for other things?

RC12 is awesome! Kismet works pretty much out of the box once the hostap modules ipk is installed. The USB storage works. And whatever you guys did to mplayer, it runs so much better. xrandr also works, which is great for setting the resolution to 320x240 when using mplayer or snes9x. Great job. Thanks again.

I think you put the url instead of the name
name should be like "myfeed" and the url http://mail.pdaxrom.org/rc12/Zaurus-7x0-860/feed


in ipkg.conf (from memory)

ipkg doesn't seem to work. No matter which feed I use I get:

Any idea what's going on?

I would love to see support for kismet using an ambicom card in any new RC. Any plans on supporting this in an upcoming RC? Until then I'm sticking with rc10 and my dirty hack using the sharp kernel.
