Angstrom & OpenZaurus / Scummvm Load/save/quit Key

I've exactly the same problem, no load/save/quit key for ScummVM on Opie and OZ 3.5.3.
The special key with the pulldown menu symbol does nothing in my case.

Angstrom & OpenZaurus / No Uptime

Both in Opie and GPE I cannot get the uptime of my machine (Collie), running OZ 3.5.3.

uptime: couldn't get boot time: No such file or directory
I can't understand this behaviour, nevertheless /proc/uptime seems to be ok.

The bug is already in the OZ bugzilla.. I only hope they fix it soon, SDL is a must!

For X based low resource systems what i would suggest would be,
email - use sylpheed , it is the best email client in terms of features for a low resource environment

I can't use Sylpheed from OZ 3.5.3 feed on a Collie, every time I run it the application starts but widgets won't react to taps.

browsing - you can use dillo, it is very fast and light on resources.
Just forget about mozilla and firefox etc, you can get them to run but the speed is horrible.

I suggest Minimo.

Take a look at the script and see why it failed (looks like it'd trying to mknod, but it already exists) - I'd remove the node and let it recreate it itself, then it should work ok. You could also edit the status file and set it to installed.

Nothing changes if I remove the node and let it recreate it, I think I'm going to edit the status file to force it as installed.

I have a SL-5500 with OZ 3.5.3 and GPE.
I can't figure where I can download libsdl-image, libsdl-mixer and the other basic extra sdl libs that will work on GPE, both the last familiar and the last OZ feeds contain packages that depend on libqpe and libqte2.

After having installed lirc-modules I've noticed that every time I install a package with ipkg, lirc-modules will be configured again!


Example:

Configuring findutils
Configuring lirc-modules
mknod: `/dev/lirc': File exists
