C1000/3x00 General discussions / Does The 3200 Sd Driver Support Sdhc?

Hi,
I`am using a 4GB Platinum Card (I think its the "old" SD specs)

By using the original sharp rom, there was no problem to mount.

So if I "upgrade" to cacko 1.23 I have to install the sd-driver (sdmmc-module_2.4.20_arm.ipk) from http://zaurus.daemons.gr/menaie/mirror/ and it works too.


The SDHC is FAT32 format, I think. If I know right, the zaurus have a problem by reading fat32.

Sharp ROMs / Cacko Won't Boot

Hi @ all,
It seems I have nearly the same problem, so I don't start a new threat:

I install Cacko 1.23 on my 3200. I also install a few applications (pisync, zsafe, dosbox, textmaker... ) without any errors.
After I backup my system on cf, the zaurus won't reboot correctly.

54321,.... the screen "loading Linux & Cacko" until the small cross in the middle of the screen is up for a short time. And the loop beginns.

So please you have any suggestions about the reasons about, or the positions of some log-files to fix the bug in my system???

I dont have any japanese applications installed!

Hello again.

I have found the problem in the samba configuration:

In /etc/samba/smb.conf
 
"interface = usb0 eth0 bnep0 irda0 irda1"

So if I switch of this line
" #  interface = usb0 eth0 bnep0 irda0 irda1"
and restart I can connect my zaurus also by samba.

But in this case the usb-connect and sync dosn't work.
Replace the line by " interface = #" also dosn't work

If I undestand the smb.conf in the right way, so the "interface" option allows onle the first entry to connect and ignore the other 4?!

any ideas??

p.s. The smb.conf is a link to readonly filesystem, so you have to rename the link and copy the file to /etc/samba/

Hi Forum,

I have "updateted" my C750 in cacko-rom 1.22 (a very good idea)!!!

There a a little problem by connect the zaurus to my network (192.1.202.0 ):

Connect to my pc with the usb-cable works fine (also samba, syncing,...)

But if I want to connect the zaurus by using the lan-card ( billionton) there is no samba availible. ssh is working fine. Internet by using the zaurus and a proxy works also fine.

in /etc/samba/smb.conf is also ok, i think
