C1000/3x00 Hardware / C1000 -- Cracked My Lcd :(

Anyone have links to good resources for either replacing my C1000's LCD myself or sending it somewhere good to have it repaired?

Angstrom & OpenZaurus / 3.5.4.1 On Akita -- Cf Stopped Working

Hi guys.  I have the above hardware and software configuration and own an Ambicom WL1100C-CF WLAN card.  Shortly after I upgraded my Akita from rc1 to production 3.5.4.1, my CF card stopped turning on when I inserted it into the slot.  SD still works fine.  There are no bent pins in the CF slot.  Any ideas what might be going on here?

Since I didn't know about the new zaurusd I hacked up my zaurus-hinge script the other day to provide this funcionality.

Here are the parts I changed:

and at the top of the "landscape" section (under "if [ $STATE = "0" ]; then" )
I added:

echo 30 > /sys/class/backlight/corgi-bl/brightness
Brightness is 0 (off) to 47 (full bright). Poke around at the other files in /sys/class/backlight/corgi-bl/ to find fun stuff like max_brightness, etc. Anyways, this little hack should get you by until the new zaurusd comes out.

BTW, if you close the Zaurus, then suspend it, then open it, then resume it (in that order), you'll end up with the Zaurus resumed with the backlight off. In that case close the lid, wait a couple seconds and re-open it to make the backlight come on again. You might find other problems with the way I did this since it was just a quick hack to let me listen to music on the go rather than a real fix.

I told it not to even sleep at all in the sleep configuration applet in GPE, but it still suspends regularly every 5-6 minutes or so.  How do you fix this?

This is a bug in ipaq-sleep / gpe-conf which has since been fixed.

Does this mean that an ipkg update && ipkg upgrade will fix it?  Or the fix hasn't been added to the feeds yet?

C1000/3x00 Hardware / Cheap, Functional Case

Hey guys,
     I went to walmart to get a usb to ps2 adapter (on sale for 6.00 usd) and I came across a targus universal camera pouch.  It fits the c1000 body perfectly.  It's not extremely padded but, it has a nice, soft inside with a little cushion.

And the best part...

it was 94 cents :-D

It's not 94 cents, but I use this for my 3100, clips to my belt, has pocket for CF wifi card.

It's actually Akita+, if my own Akita is any indication.
