i deleted the partition and forgot to write them down so now it will not boot

i have a planex gw-cf11aa that use to work with the sharp rom but i loaded the cacko and now it does not work
does anyone have the drivers for it on cacko?

when i use the english to japanese all i get is the square
so i guess i need to load japanese fonts or something

 ko  i put in a 1g SD card and tried to install some packages there so save in main memory but when i installed firefox it gives me

this package is abailable only for main memory.

yes, i tried other packages and they all say that
what am i doing wrong???

There is no such option unfortunately. The qinstaller only lets you install to main memory (which is either the internal flash on a C1000/C3100 or /hdd2 on a C3000). If you have SD and/or CF card(s) inserted then you get the option to install to those locations as well, but there is no option to install to /hdd3 which is the main data section of the internal microdrive (harddisk) and where all the space is

i tried to install some programs to my SD card but i get a message saying the program must be installed in main memory.

flying to japan next month and getting a C3100.  what would you recommend i read up on before i buy it and what OS would be the best to install?

background, never used linux or bsd only used windows XP, windows mobile 2003se, and 10.4 tiger

 for anyone overclocking their c3100, have you replaced the microdrive with a CF card?  did they CUT down on the HEAT build-up?

i have a external microdrive and when i do a 1 & 0 wipe format on it, it does get very warm.
