Gemini PDA - General Discussion / Perk/Accessory delivery?
« on: July 19, 2018, 11:44:10 am »
I ordered the Gemini Camera in December 2017 and still have not gotten it as well as the AC adapter from my original order in Oct. 2017.  I think they are behind on all the accessories and trying to fill when they can.  The process they follow does not necessarily give a first come first serve delivery.

Thanks
Ishman

Gemini PDA - Hardware / AT&T in USA - How to access 4G LTE and eSIM
« on: June 11, 2018, 01:18:21 pm »
Hello,

Just for others information around AT&T service in the US.   If you purchase a new sim and use it for the Gemini you will more than likely be only able to see 3G on the device due to AT&T not updating this in there database.  The solution that I did was simple take an old iPhone 5 that I had laying around and put its IMEI number in my account on the AT&T webpage.   Reboot the Gemini and 4G LTE is available.  Easily 4-5X faster with speedcheck.  Once the sim is mapped for a registered 4G device, you simple put it in the Gemini and off you are running.  Hope this helps others, I was fighting this battle for a while.

Thanks
Ishman

Thanks for your response.  Another question, I assume the Gemini unit is eSIM capable even with the X25 chipset correct.

Hi Ishman,

Thank you for coming back to us, I hope you're having a good day.

The X25 units are not compatible with eSIM, however, I'd like to remind that again eSIM is a feature that is in a very early stage of global standardisation. What I mean, is that eSIM is currently only compatible with carrier networks focusing on development and testing, it's not available for the general consumer with mainstream carriers. It is up to the carrier to implement the new eSIM standard and the majority of them don't support it as of yet.

Kind regards,
Erkan

Gemini PDA - Hardware / Stylus?

I guess my thoughts are that since this is a capaciitive screen and does not have any built in technology for stylus input such as Walcom  or N-TRIG, we would have to rely on the "ipad" style versions.   I have a few that are battery operated and have a fine point and work well on many capacitive screens (windows and android both).

ReGearTM Pro Stylus
Lynktec Apex Fusion Fine Point Active Stylus
Just Mobile AluPen Digital Stylus

I am sure there are others we can try.
