Gemini PDA - Hardware / speakers out of phase?

zevv: does this mean L and R channels get separated with your fix? As before L channel has been played in both speakers as well as R channel.

Thanks Adam. I read that, but I wanted to by sure I don’t miss anything by just upgrading packages with apt.

Sorry, I'm not sure I understand you.

I was asking about upgrading from https://github.com/gemian/gemini-keyboard-apps/wiki/DebianTP to current Gemian (DebianTP2 probably?).

As for the GPU acceleration, the Mali GPU is/was not used in DebianTP(1), it is apparent as the desktop environment is not as fast as it should be.

Bump. Really? No-one upgraded from the first TP release to the second one? Also no-one known whether GPU acceleration is functional in TP2?

I believe there are no improvements in TP2 besides upgraded packages, so apt upgrade should get me to TP2, but I would like to have that confirmed.

Is it possible to upgrade to latest Gemian without losing my data? Without reflasing it all with flash tool?

I’m currently on TP2 dual-boot. What can I do to get latest Debian firmware?

Also whats new in TP2? Is there any changelog? I suspect, GPU acceleration is still non-functional, right?

Thank you!

Gemini PDA - Hardware / Supplied charger supports MTK Pump Express

Not exactly true. He confirmed included charger only supports Pump Express mode of charge. Did not tested Gemini (input) itself. So this is misleading.

Did anyone else have a face palm moment?

Um, yeah. I'm surprised they didn't provide an OS/2 installer. Or maybe DOS (2.11 or earlier). Because it's well known that all people who want Linux devices have machines sitting around running on undesirable operating systems.

Actually, that's not fair -- OS/2 and DOS 2.11 were perfectly desirable operating systems.
wtf. Are you really comparing Linux to obsolete systems like OS/2 and DOS?

I also run Windows only in VM. Not complaining, however I totally understand those, who miss proper Linux/OS X builds of the tools. Your comment is totally missing the point.

Gemini is based on Linux (even Android is using Linux kernel) and the flash tool is Windows-only? The Grench's comment is totally valid and understandable.
