C1000/3x00 Hardware / Nand Hdd Restore

OKAY... I got the Zaurus back up and running with the HDD1 restore file from www.xlfag.com/zaurus/

Only problem is I'm in japanese now... I know there's a MCCONVERT pkg, but the above-mentioned website says I can download a file from trisoft and use that. Well, I put the file on my CF card under the Backup_Files folder.. tried to do the restore on the settings menu and it came up with a dialog (probably error since just had an ok button) and did nothing.

All I need is what to do to put the english on and I'm set... so what do I do?

What did you do before the NAND restore?

Does your Zaurus boot up properly?

Did you try sudo fdisk -l to check what file system is on the HD partitions?

Maybe you can try re-partitioning / formatting and then fsck again?

Well let's see, I attempted OpenBSD which didn't work out and then OpenZaurus which didn't quite make it, then I did the NAND flash restore which seemed to work fine then did HDD restore which came up with a sector error yet when I test the HDD it works fine.

When booting the Zaurus it says:

HDD1 Error!!

Do a fsck ( OK + on when switching on after having the battery out for 5 secs; power supply plugged in, option 2 and option 2)
[div align=\"right\"][a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=97116\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a][/div]

I did that... then..

Now checking HDD1....
fsck.ext3: Bad magic number in super-block while trying to open /dev/hdc1
/dev/hd1c:
superblock could not be read or does not describe correct ext2 filesystem.

Now checking HDD2...
fsck.ext3: invalid argument while trying to open /dev/hdc2
superblock could not be read or does not describe correct ext2 filesystem.

Now checking HDD3
mount: mounting /dev/hdc3 on /hdd3 failed: Invalid Argument
Format Error!

File system errors left uncorrected.

So now what?
