Gemini PDA - Android / Firmware Update 2018-10-09

Another fail from my device. I had been meaning to wipe Debian and Sailfish and go back to stock Android full-time.

I did so, successfully, and I'm STILL getting a "Error: Partition table not match" upon reboot.

So my amateur opinion is that if you have custom flashed your device, even if you've returned to stock settings afterwards, you're SOL, so far, with this update.

Geez,
Jake

UGH!!!!!! Now I'm without a phone today because of this update which is bad news for me to get any work done at all.

I just installed the update. Now my Gemini keeps booting into TWRP. Any suggestions?

As the Gemini's strength is its text editing, one of the things I expected to do a lot would be to either grab text from another machine and edit it, or just create the text on the Gemini and send it somewhere else.  But I've completely failed to find any decent file-transfer app for Android!
Does anyone know of something more useful?

Urghh... Yalp says that both has ads, and requires GSF.  I'd rather do without both!

I've been working up some shell scripts and things to make termux FTP a little less cumbersome, but a GUI would be nice

Buy the Pro version or remove the ads with lucky patcher. Pretty simple.

Of course I have termux, which has FTP, but the command-line is not the most convenient interface here!

Hey all,

I recently updated my Debian install via apt-get. After rebooting my Debian install stops at the boot screen and goes no further.

Is there any way I can mount and access the Debian partition from Android?

I'm on regular dual boot with Android as primary boot and also rooted, X27.

Thanks in advance for any help.
do you get far enough that you could ssh in, using your charging cable connected to a usb port on another computer?

I got it!!! I was trying ssh gemini@gemini.local and finally got it at the beginning of boot.

Thanks again... Fixing now!!!

From my Mac's terminal what would the hostname be over USB for the Gemini?
