Thanks Ifanafi, that's certainly an option, however it would be nice if we could get assistant working.  I don't know if there is a way to fully remap keys (would also be nice to change some behaviour of the keyboard as well).  I've downloaded Saiy as you suggested and will give that a go for now.

Don, you can switch between Google voice search and Saiy using the 'Gemini Voice Assistant' app.

So, it appears that the silver button launches 'Voice Search' rather than 'Assistant'.  Voice search doesn't  seem to be as capable as Assistant (I think it may just do a Goole Now search).  Anyone got any ideas on how to change this behavior?

Just out of interest did you have your Tickwatch E connected with a previous Android device?

If you did you will need to remove the Tickwatch E from your devices in your Google account (via website, not on your phone).  Had to do this with my LG Watch Urbane - was driving me nuts!

That was it!  Would never have thought to do this.  Thanks, all working now

I'm having issues trying to pair my Tickwatch E.  Anyone else had success/issues with Wear OS devices?
