I'm still waiting on my sl-c3200 to come in the mail.

I have this cable

I'm assuming any cable should work with the sl-c3200 since it's just a usb device. Or am I wrong?

If I buy a bluetooth card for the sl-c3200. Am I able to use the internet with my 8700g?

probably.  I'm having gsm conection troubles, but that seems to be a plan/syste/isp thing.

Also, being in Alaska doesn't help.  I spent three years at Eielson AFB. So, I know what's up.

So, how do I go about setting up the zaurus to use the blackberry for internet? And, would anyone know what kind of speed I'm looking at. I know the 8700g (t-mobile) is using EDGE technology. But, it's still slower than 3G.

Very nice. Yeah, the crash carts we have here at work suck. I'd love to have a Zaurus that also connects to any sun box we have in our datacenter. Can the Cacko rom do what I want it to do? Or, do I have to install a different rom?

I would like to know if I can use the Zaurus (sl-c3200) and hook it up to a sunfire box or whatever to view the console. Kind of like a crash cart. Is this possible?

I'm looking for a brand new sl-c3100. If you are selling one please let me know. By brand new, I mean no scratches, dents, bumps, etc, etc. My OCD will not allow that.

I'll take it! How much are you selling it for?

Hmmm. I thought that if I installed xmms I should be able to listen to live streams such as bassdrive.com. And internet tv is just streaming media. Opie Player 2 should be able to handle that, right?

Just a couple questions before I make the purchase. I'm thinking of getting the sl-c3200.

Where can I get one for cheap with fast shipping?

What's the best wifi card?

Can I watch internet tv on it?

Can I listen to internet radio?

What else can I do with this device?

Sorry if these questions have been asked before. I'm just trying to get an update.

http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-42945...perimental.html

Is why firefox is still at 1.0.7. But I've been using 1.5 for a while on all three of my Gentoo boxes and have had no problem.

I recommend using Gentoo because of Portage. I'm running e17 on all of my Gentoo boxes and the install was a breeze. Also updating the e17 packages was too easy. Just read http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_emerge_e17

I googled sl-c3200 and found a site that mentions a new Zaurus that might be coming out next month. Anyone have any info or anything on this?

Here's that site...

C1000/3x00 General discussions / Should I Keep Waiting For A New Zaurus?

Ok I plan on buying my new zaurus in the next month (hooray new job!) My only question is what's the smallest wifi CF card (that doesn't stick out like crazy)and doesn't consume the most power? I also plan on trying out the Cacko rom.

Thanks.

Right on. When I get my Zaurus I'll give it a shot. I don't watch much TV but I would love to show my friends the cool thinks you can do with a Linux powered device.
