I'm still wondering if anyone knows how to setup options within each emulator to change graphics, frameskip, sound options and so forth!??

Hey Cresho,

I'm wondering how you can change FRAMESKIP/VSYNC options for NES/SNES emulators and if there's a way to enable any software/hardware rendering like SUPEREAGLE, SUPERSAI, etc. Any help is appreciated...

Thanks,

Sharp ROMs / Font Switching

I know this shouldn't be pissing me off but for some reason it is....

I have my Zaurus 3100 working perfectly in Japanese and English but the LCFONT looks like absolute garbage compared to the helvetica fonts that work in English. Does anyone know a solution to this? I've looked everywhere but cannot find any way to change the fonts to a nice looking font that supports Japanese and English. The LCFONT is very difficult to read when I shrink it. My eyes can read the Helvetica font at small sizes very easily but the result with Japanese is the little square boxes. Any help is appreciated whether it's a link or some type of instructions on how to change the fonts!

Thanks,

Software / Msn Messenger Software
« on: January 04, 2006, 05:19:26 am »
Hey folks, I was browsing through here and I didn't find anything mentioning this program called KMerlin. I'm not sure if this is a double post and I'm sorry if it is...

Anyways,

If you're trying to use just MSN messenger on your Zaurus and have realized that no web based version will work with Opera or Netfront, and you've screwed around endlessly with GAIM and such, then I definitely recommend this software to you. It's very fast and has never crashed once on me. There aren't too many options but there are enough to customize some things like the screen layout and such. The webpage is in Japanese so I've added this link for those who don't want to try to get through the jungle of Japanese characters. I have a Zaurus 3100 and it works great. I'm sure any Zaurus will work fine...

Software / Kde-pim/pi 2.1.0 Available!
« on: November 06, 2005, 09:54:15 am »
Hello,

I have a quick question....

This has been baffling me for the past couple of weeks now and I've searched everywhere I think, but cannot find the answer!

I have a Sharp Zaurus CL-3100 and I have installed EVERY version of KO/PI on it to test with.

The problem I have is the following:

With, or without the alarm applet installed...if I create an appointment/to do with an alarm set and then go to check the entry, it's flagged with the alarm correctly. EX. "30 Minutes Before". However, if I exit the program (with saving first), and go back into KO/PI, and check the entry the alarm says "!30(Disabled) Minutes Before". The alarms will not work at this point. I've tested everything! If I create the apts. in KO/PI on the Zaurus without exiting, it's OK. But if I sync from my Windows machine, which I usually do because of convenience, it comes across with the "(disabled)" stuff. This is happening in EVERY VERSION, with/without the alarm applet installed. Has anyone seen this and does anyone know the solution?

Thanks,

Mike
