Cosmo Communicator - CoDi / Re: Manual CoDi flash

Hi, I am a newbie, got the Cosmo last week.
I was lost in many semi-automatic updates (incl. fully automatic, unwanted, unsolicited google bloat-like-ware updates)
but failed with only one -  last one, the CoDi update.

The most important action that helped was to Clear cache and storage in App info.
Below is all text was sent to me by the support team of Planet Computers.

I did all steps except Force stop (Codi Assistant seems to be unstoppable on my rooted phone, unrooted as well)
and it works!
Maybe it is final version of CoDi Flashing guide?  :-)


Freshly restart your Cosmo.

Go to your Apps screen and find **Cover Display.**
Hold down **Cover display** and go into **App Info

FORCE STOP.**

Scroll down the Screen and click on **Storage**.

**CLEAR CACHE**... **CLEAR STORAGE**.

Then the following steps:

1. Check for updates from the Cover Display Assistant app

2. Begin the update process, and as soon as the device gets into flashing mode, enable "Airplane mode" from the notification menu.

3. Stay on the flashing screen without moving away. This may take up around 20 minutes, and the system may timeout, retry.
