Files can only be 2GB in size. When it reaches that limit, it will start a new file. Check for another movie.

Oddly, the car adapter is L shaped, so it should fit with the travel plug.

That's only happened to me twice since December with a 500.
Also a couple times the video got saved, without audio, and the video was slowed down. I think it got corrupted.
Overall, I'm quite pleased with it.
Have you tried downloading the latest firmware?

Make sure you press the button to switch the display from the LCD to the TV.

If Archos locks up, hold the power button for 15 seconds, and it should force it off.

I ordered from http://newmp3technology.com/, which is in the USA. Lots of stuff for Archos there.

My model is AV500, but the manual still describes this feature.
And yes, I tried WEEK, and it doesn't work.

I saved my Yahoo TV Guide page as HTML to the System folder like documentation says.
When I unplug the cable, it updates the ArcLibrary and finds the TV listings, but gives this error "Unknown format".
Any ideas?

My camcorder has output to RCA male jacks. So I bought an adapter (3 female to 3 female) to go between it and the Archos RCA male cables. I plan to try it today.

In the System screen, change the drive type to Hard Drive. This is what Explorer will treat the Archos like, so you can drag and drop files. If it is Windows Device, only WMP can use it.

I received my chargers.
The UBS one fits perfect, has a standard UBS cord length, and charges just like the AC one.
The car adapter jack is slightly loose on the Archos end, and I have to move the L-shaped plug until the light stays on. Otherwise it works fine.
