Angstrom & OpenZaurus / Oe Builder Vmware Player Image

Hello Ironstorm,

I found this a week a go and tryed to get it up and running.
It failed to start as monotone 0.25 is used on the latest OE.db, I couldn't manage it to build it from source as a package for ubuntu is missing. Are there any plans to update the image with the latest changes ??

First of all you get the last OpenSimpad 0.9.1 Version from opensimpad.org, and also all the information you need to upgrade the bootloader....

if you install the new bootloader you can then easily try different distributions with a compact flash card in the pcmcia slot....

like familiar 0.8.3 ( OPIE or GPE image)

you need the jffs2 image.

there should also be a new Angstrom distro with Simpad support, but there is nothing released yet afaik...

I'll try the Familiar release tomorrow.... to see whats going on there
