Zaurus - pdaXrom / Arrrghos 500

I want to love my new Archos 500 but

1. First PC wont recognize it.

2, Second PC will recognize but once I load the updated firmware and try the "Update Firmware" button - nothing happens

3. I try to record TV directly and get "wrong module type" - no mention of that problem or error code on the Archos website.

Apple has the market locked up because they build things that simply work.

1. How do you find what version of firmware currently installed


2. I keep getting error message when trying to load Video Recorder "Wrong Module Type!"
