Nokia Tablet / The Nokia N800

I reviewed the N800 here:

Overall very interesting, but the software catalog is small with little change.  Without an infusion of developers, this product will fade away.

Angstrom & OpenZaurus / Collie Problem After Apr 10 Upgrade

I applied the updates that were made available today.  While my Collie (SL-5500) is working fine, I now get a warning and one minute delay at boot that I'm running the wrong kernel (3.5.4) and should be running 3.5.4.1-alpha2.  I don't think that kernel applies to Collie, so this must be a bug, right?

Arrg.  I spoke too soon.  My WiFi card is now reported as unsupported when it's inserted (Netgear MA701).

Accessories / Battery Extenders

I use this with my Sl-5500:

Works great.  5 Amps, 4.8V, with a plug that fits the Zaurus.  The battery comes with a belt clip (really a generic cell phone case), and a charger.  The charger runs too hot for my comfort, but they also included a additional cable with bare wire ends, which I use with my better charger.
