Zaurus - pdaXrom / Manual Cf Card Enable/disable?

I'd like to keep my bluetooth CF card inserted in the CF slot, but only provide power and enable it when I want to use it (for dial up). I mean, I don't want to waste my battery power when not used.

From what I've read on other forums, power usage of bluetooth is rather low, so I keep my one always on. Also on my phone (SE) I get maybe a day less on a week with a full charge...

Maybe try my experimental packages ?? (look over here)

How "experimental" are those? I more or less now have a "stable" Zaurus I was planning on using for a while (at least until kernel 2.6 will be out :-), after playing around with various winmanagers and apps.

Also, do you know something about memory usage of 4.4 vs 4.2? I find that with the various applets and things running, 64MB is getting tight :-)

Solution: Autostart of Applications (also in panel-systray) and Question: Autohide of panel

You have to create a Directory named "Desktop" and within this directory a subdirectory "Autostart".

Hi,

I've been trying to get this work, but no luck :-( Could you tell me in what directory you created the Desktop directory, and what permissions are on the various files involved?

Regards,

I too have it installed & running BUT it doesn't see any files either. No error messages from command line..

This took me a bit of time, but you need to have the shared-mime-info package installed as well. After that, I got pictures.
