I can relate w/ Jon J on Order of the Griffon.  It's not that playable, & worst, I can't even save, or use password to continue it.  

Still, I did beat the original game looong ago.  So, it's OK, I guess

Super Soldier Blade worked on mine.  Kinda lessened the pain of not playing Blazing Lazers.

I don't know why I just sold C3100   But my UX50 got fixed, & it's wi-fi is even better!    Still now w/ the CXXXX series, you can use larger size SD card, so... I am definitely going to pick one again at the end of this yr (when I will be overseas, & need the extra space).

Ys 1 & 2 for the Zaurus?  Wow.  I still have Turbo Duo & Turbo CD + ACD card (recently sold Turbo Express).

BTW, how fares the Genesis project ?

Hi,

Thanks for everything.  With very few quirks, It's working GREAT now.  I esp like that it recognizes PDB files--which I have alots of.  The Opie cleaner, does what it's supposed too!

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Meanie, I saw your cdrw dvd drive on eBay (I do most of my online shopping there, addicting ), but it's pretty expensive. I am kinda broke now .

Anywyas, here are some that I will definitely get now if it's compatible.  What do you guys think?  Any advice would be really appreciated.

PS.  My PMP also worked with myZaurus, but it was only playing vertically.  Is there anyway to fix it?

But from my exp, I don't like MDs too much.  Unlike CF, once you put MD to C3100, it is really a devil to take it out (it doesn't have that tap).

I guess it depends on everyone's pref & on what they are using now.

From what little I know, I concurr with bluedevils, though.

And if your keen on the USB host stuff, Cacko is probably the better bet vs Sharp Rom--I am finding it the hard way .

General Discussion / Which Model Is The Best For Me?

BTW, converting CXXXX series to US is easy.  If I can do it (hah), you most certainly can.  It's like only a 5 min job .

I am fairly new to this, but cost & performance wise, I would recommend C1000 too.  But since you didn't put host USB as a requsite, any older C clamshell would do just as well, I think.

Software / Opie Reader Help Please

Hi, I am using the Stock Sharp Rom, Qtopia.  I am kinda lost.  I have been dowloading several ver, but no luck so far .  Even if they were installed, I couldn't find files like doc,pdb, etc....  So, my question is:

What Opie Reader ver should I download?

And,

Where should I install the book files at?

PS.  I also REALLY need this to use it as a portable bible.  I miss mybible reader...

Ok, I know I am getting greedy now   but...

1.  Is there any way that allows SNES/TG16/NES to play on full screen?  The only thing that played on full display was Ninja Spirits for TG16--really looked great   .

2.  And is it best to install all the program files to the flash RAM, or to SD?  Is it  
     possible?

Mine is on the flash RAM I think (since I installed it on the program area), & the games are on SD.

I am asking because, I did use alot of saves, & want to use less save as possible, if it is indeed being saved on the flash RAM.  I just want to use Zaurus as long as I can .  And if it is, I want to reinstall the programs to SD card.

And can you tell me where the save file is located?  I know it's being saved on somewhere.  But I can't find it anywhere on the files, or on search   .

My bad.  I got it to work--at least on some of them.  I don't think my C3100 likes 2.0 USB devices though

I want to get a slim cdrw burner, KB, mouse, hub, & a mini HD on eBay.  But the compatibilty issues are making me cautious

Any help would be appreciated.  I bought a Gold X & two iRiver cables, but none of my many devices are recoginzed in C3100--the devices powers fine though. I heard Cacko can automatically detect & equip the devices, but I would like to keep using the stock Sharp Rom, if I can.  I basically got this for the Emus & USB host.  Since the EMUs work fine (Tks Cresho), now back to host problem

So far, all I have is:

C3000 automount ipk.

i gaved you a pm....check all three-snes, nes and turbografx and let me know if it fixes it with libsdl1.2.6 or something.  if it works, then ill update a few things and post the ipk here.

your lucky i read the forums on a daily basis.  spare time, etc.

make sure you also have sudo_0.1_arm.ipk and zlib_1.2.3-1_arm.ipk

those games (which happen to be my favorites) do not play on the z.  try bonk 2, legendary axe 1 and 2, galaga 90 which play extremely well on the z.

if you have problems with one sdl vs other, uninstall one and install other but do not have both installed at the same time

i am reffering to libsdl_1.2.5-slzaurus20050410_arm.ipk and libSDL_1.2.6-zports-5_arm.ipk

those two will fix your keypad problems.  If your still having problems, ill create ipk files and post them for you to try with corrected key.

Tks for the great EMUs--finally playing TG 16 games.  It's like playing on Turbo Express, only better

I downloaded from your site:

And I have the following programs installed:

libSDL-mixer 1.26-Zsports-0.ipk

snes9x_SDL-2_arm.ipk
zemufe_0.1.1-3ex_arm.ipk
znester_7.1-1_arm.ipk
zpce_0.3.4-1_arm.ipk


Also, under interal disk, I created "Custom" folder and put "keyhelper.xml" there.

But I can't get many roms (like Blazing Lasers, Bonk, Final Lap Twin, Neutopias, etc) to run.  A black screen appears and the tap bar apperas on the right side

And like others (well initially), I can't get the control to work.  They are reversed.  

You have "do not look at this unless you have a key rotation problem" zip file.
And under that, you have:

libSDL_1.26-zports-5Marm.ipk
zpce RC file
znester RC file

So, I didn't do anything with them.

And I haven't tried to enter any codes or anything either.  On the "Frontend Setting", "ETC", there is ".sh path" & "Expansion"  Do I have to put codes under there? Or from "Qkonsole"?  Or is it not neccessary?  I read thru this thread, & it's kind of confusing   Yep, I am a total newbie    one of my main criteria that made me buy C3100 was because it can play emus.  So...

Sorry for the long post.  Any help would be really great.  I am using Sharp ROM.

PS. If it's any help--most likely not--the only program I have installed are the mcconvert, kino 2 (& related files), automounter c3000.
