6000 - Tosa / Kismet on the 6000

Hi.
I have been tryng to install kismet with

but i have a problem when i get to step 7 with the ulcx i cant use it.,i dont know why but my Z dont recognize ulcx.
So i think is better to try with another version without the ulcx.
Can anyone tell me what files do i need?.
I am not sure about what kismet version and if i need the same libcap and the libstdc ,kismet qt etc.

Hola de nuevo .
La funcion que no acabo de entender es la siguiente.
7) [latest kismet] Uncompress the kismet binary by ulcx. Note: you may need to clean up some space in your internal flash for this deflation process.

 cd /usr/local/bin
 ln -s Location/ulcx
 ulcx -d kismet_client
 ulcx -d kismet_server

Nose muy bien que es debo poner en el Location ni para que sirve.

Hola de nuevo.
No se si es mejor usa los ultimos paquetes de Kismet con el ulcx ya que no entiendo muy bien por que y que es el ulcx y la verdad me gusta saber lo que hago.

Estoy probando a instalar Kismet y todo va bien siguiendo

El proble ma llega en el punto 7 que no lo entiendo muy bien ese Location no se a ke se refiere.
Luego en el punto 8 a la hora de configurar con vi tengo algun problema ya que no he usado este editor nunca y no se como borrar lo que pone y salir guadando lo puesto aunque he visto en un post el Esc s enter aki no funciona al no tener Escape el teclado de la Z.
Bueno como me imagino muchos habreis pasado por instalar el kismet seguro que me podeis ayudar en algo.

Hola de nuevo.
Bueno por lo menos ahora me se el menu de diagnostico y como entrar de memoria ya que lo intente decenas de veces antes de darme cuenta de las mayusculas.
Ya de alguna manera le he perdido el miedo a cambiar la rom por lo que seguramente pronto probare OZ:

Hola de nuevo.
El problema era solo el nombre del archivo que habia que cambiarlo por el que te pide que es igual solo  ke en mayusculas.
Gracias y espero sirva a alguien estas 12 horas de malaos..

It was only the problem that the file i get from externe i have to rename it and then everything was ok.

Spain / Me Quede Sin La Rom Original

Hola.
Como era previsible al final y por tanto tocar ayer a la tarde se me murio la Z por el momento.
Bueno como ya habia leido bastante sobre como recuperar la rom original y donde podia encontrar los ficheros me puse a ello.
Ahora mismo cuando entro en el menu de diagnostico y voy nand restore me pide el fichero SYST0006.DBK el cual me lo he bajado pero me lo crea ella misma si voy a la opcion de nand back up ,el problema viene cuando ya tengo ese fichero y voy al restore pues despues de un rato  REstore...fail
format error.
No se he probado de todo poniendole diferentes cosas pero creo que el error es mas simple de lo que yo creo pero no soy capaz de resucitar a mi Zaurus SL6000L .
Alguna idea??.

is better that this never happens but i think that is impossible for me and now i have to restored mi Zaurus SL6000L.
I have read all the posts about this so.
First i got into diagnostic menu  pressing D an P while reset and put the battery on so in the menu i go to 4 page and i make a nand back up to CF and it makes me a file SYST00006.DBK in the CF.
Now i am goingo to get the original rom from http://www.externe.net/zaurus/flash/nand/backup/
the last option i think is the righ one and i will try to restore putting this file in the CF and going to restoring in the menu, in the nand restore also in the 4 page.
Well in a few time i will tell you how is it going.

Hi Again.
I am going to explain who am i tryng to get my original rom again.
First of al i go to [a href=\"http://www.externe.net/zaurus/flash/nand/backup/]http://www.externe.net/zaurus/flash/nand/backup/[/url]
and get the file syst0006.dbk-us.bz2  
So then i get into the diagnostic menu and i go in page 4 to nand back up to CF and it makes me a file into the CF called SYST0006.DBK it ask me to execute the back up with this file and i say ys do it makes me the back up.
After i go to restore from CF and  first appears the before file SYST....
and it says EXecute restore? iy say yes
Delete all flasf data ? and i say yes
So it says Restore ...failed
format errror
I dont know what am i doing bad.
I really need help in this.

Hola.
Solo pongo este post para saber un poco acerca de el uso que se le da aqui en España al VOIP en la Zaurus ya que toda la informacion que he encontrado ha sido en el foro dedicado al SL600 que es el modelo que yo tengo.
Por eso invito al que quiera que ponga si tiene VOIP en su Z y si lo usa y como.

Spain / Instalando Desde La Terminal.

Hola.
Lo poco que ya he instalado en mi Z SL6000L ha sido a traves del propio programa que trae la Z en la rom original para instalar paquetes y ya tengo la Qconsole funcionando perfectamente,ahora quiero empezar con el kismet y necesito la terminal que viene en el cd de instalacion de la Zaurus y no he hecho nada con ella ni siquiera la he instaldo ya que hay que hacerlo en Linux al tener que usar como dice la web que sigo el editor vi.
Me gustaria saber si alguien y seguro que mas de uno ya lo haceis me expliqueis como se hace ,ahora mismo uso Molinux que es como si tuviera Debia a partir de ella se creo esta distribucion en la que solo he cambiado el entorno grafico que trae,Gnome por el de Kde que siempre me ha gustado mas y con el que me encuentro mejor.
Estoy siguiendo esta web en la que se ven los programas ya probados en la rom original

Hi.
I have my Zaurus just a few tiem ago and after reading a lot about different roms to install and another software i have decided to leave the original rom and begin to put another software avalaibles like Kismet and many more,after i see this https://www.oesf.org/index.php?title=Applic...6000L/Sharp_ROM
i can see that the most popular software and the one i want is able to install it with the original rom.
I have decided to do this because many people has told me that the original rom is a good one for a begginer like me and i have many things to learn before i decided to change the rom.
First i would like to know what do you think about this and if is there anyone more with the original rom still and of course also tryng to know people because i think is good to have any buddie to get some help anytime and in Spain where i live theres only one person i know with this Zaurus model ,so i think i can understand many things with my little English.
