Ok, so here is my problem...
When I plug in the WCF12, I get a message "New Card: WCF12 Linksys blah blah" The little Link light on the card blinks off and on for about two seconds, then goes completely blank.
I then open up NetFront and it asks me if I want to connect. I say yes. Then I get a Connection Setup Error, "Cannot find the device card for communication."
I tested in the card in pdaXrom and it worked just fine.
How do I get it working in Cacko?
Any help is much appreciated!

Ok. I feel really bad asking this, but I've honestly tried doing searches of forums and google to figure this out on my own and come up with nothing. I even followed the instructions on using vi in the How-to and it didn't work. No one is answering in #cacko, so here goes...
I want to edit /etc/pcmcia/hostap_cs.conf. So, I fired up QKonsole. At the $ prompt I type:
$ su
# vi /etc/pcmcia/hostap_cs.conf
Then the file comes up. From there, when I delete something and then press shift+ to save, nothing really happens. I hit cancel. Nothing really happens. I close the window and open up QKonsole to see if the changes had any effect. Nope. Nothing changed.
What gives?
I also tried typing:
$ su
# login
zaurus login: root
Login incorrect
Huh?
I also tried editing the file in Midnight Commander. I find the file ok, but then I have no idea of how I'm supposed to actually edit the file from the program.
What am I doing wrong? I'm sorry if this post irritates anyone.
Many thanks in advance!
