For Sale / Wanted / Wanted: Ce-rh1 Remote For My C750
« on: October 21, 2008, 03:47:45 pm »
Thanks. I actually already searched and ordered a remote for creative-labs zen player on ebay. Do you or anyone else by any chance remember the size of the SMT resistors? From what I saw in one of pictures, they look like 1210. or I will check when I receive the remote.

all the Sharp remotes are *similar* in the way they work, basically being a resistor network, but Sharp changed the resistor values from the 860 to the 1000 series,  and may have done so before, but the good news is that if you search the forum you should be able to get the wiring diagram and thus be able to either make your own or modify a remote from a different generation.

if memory serves correct one of the creative labs or similar could also work

if you want to get really exotic, a USB keypad, and IRDA or even a bluetooth keyboard could probably be made to work.

Thank you. Does it still work after over a year. :-)

I have. Some details on this thread. The battery life is a bit less than a brand new Sharp battery but is certainly better than my old depleted one.

C1000/3x00 Hardware / Good Prce On A Replacement Battery For The 3100?

I am looking for a battery for my C750 too.

the battery on http://www.batteryupgrade.com looks like the one on ebay (search for EA-BL08) which is much cheaper.

I bought one of these from http://www.batteryupgrade.com/ and was prepared to have to shave the plastic around the contacts. They must have fixed that issue, because I didn't have to trim the plastic at all. (Either that, or the C1000 is built slightly different from the 3x00 series.)

I've been using it without problems for about 2 weeks.
