Sharp PC-Z1 NetWalker / Sharp Netwalker Pc-z1, Who Has One?

I looked at it, but decided to wait for the UMID M2. I expect that the ubuntu arm repository will have quite a lot to offer.

I was able to get Zubuntu running from my SD card. Two problems so far:
1) A lot of key bouncing, meaning duplicate characters. Can I adjust this?
2) I can't get a wlan card to work with dhcp. I am trying my Linksys 802.11b cf card (WCF12) working. Flashing lights, but no networks in wicd and no IP address. I tried editing /etc/network/interfaces and adding my gateway and essid. I have fooled with ifconfig and iwconfig, but no joy. I tried setting wicd to use wlan0 and wifi0 both of which show via dmesg. I also found the post about changing permissions on dhcp in /etc/password to '0'. Cortez said it was verified as working so I must be missing something.
Any ideas.
QuoteMax,
I have had mine a few days now. Pocketsize isn't much good if you can't do what you need to do. I now have a useful device rather than one I HAD to constantly tinker with and never got quite right. If you must put it in your pocket, this isn't it. Good luck.

very, very, very doable. Lets hope they are smart enough to throw in a USB, cf and sd slots for bluetooth or wifi option or even integrated stuff.Absolutely, and a pony, they should include a pony for $199 Just kidding. Sounds neat and might work for my parents as a traveling email/web device.

With the use of virtulization software, like Parellels Desktop on Intel Macs, one can run most of 32-bit OSes as he wishes.
