Zaurus - pdaXrom / Compiling Apache
« on: August 30, 2005, 08:03:58 am »
I tried compiling Apache 2.0.54 with the native SDK and this error appears:

In file included from apr_cpystrn.c:17:
../include/apr.h:393:2: #error no decision has been made on APR_PATH_MAX for your platform

I ran configure thus:

Code: [Select]

 ./configure --enable-so

but apart from that everything is vanilla.

Needless to say, APR_PATH_MAX should be set to a constant in limits.h by configure. limits.h exists and configure seems to be able to find it.

Something really simple is missing here, but I can't figure what it is.

Anyone got any ideas?

If you can wait a little bit (maybe a week or so), I'm planning to use hostap drivers as default in the next Cacko ROM.
Great. Hopefully the next release, and flashing the card, will solve my problems with getting wifi running.

Oh, and a home page for the ROM. The forum works quite well but with the home page gone I keep having to tell people that 'no I don't think Cacko Qtopia is dead even though the site bounces to pdaxrom.org

Yes, I know   I wish I could find a person willing to maintain the site at his/her spare time. I just can't cach up with yet another peice of work... Any valonteer?

Why not set up Cacko as a sourceforge project? That way you will get volunteers for the home page and for development too.

FWIW, I also think a major feature of the next release would be CVS access to the development tree. This is another feature that SF offers.

There is a huge amount of experience out there with using SF (they are nearing a million registered users) so I would guess that quite a few on this forum could help out with getting the project set up.

So does anyone know where I can get a version of the hostap drivers with PRISM2_DOWNLOAD_SUPPORT and PRISM2_NON_VOLATILE_DOWNLOAD?   I need to be able to do the update on my Zaurus.
Anyone?

I know I will have to set up a development environment one day, but I'd like just to flash the card first.
