Download this ipk it is meant for oz 3.*
Install and link like you normaly would, then run the compat libs on the evm file.
This works fine on my 5500, not sure if there would be any problems from the 5kd though.

Kismet works fine on my collie, did you add the appropriate 'source' to your kismet.conf file?
Maybe you should uninstall everything and follow Iron Geek's method which i've had no problems with.

Software / Installing .ipk's On Collie Using Oz 3.5.3

After installing a package, using 'ipkg -d sd install packagename.ipk'
you need to run 'ipkg-link add packagename'
so if you installed lets say opie-wordgame_1.2.0-r0_arm.ipk you would do the following.
ipkg -d sd install opie-wordgame_1.2.0-r0_arm.ipk (push enter)
ipkg-link add opie-wordgame (you dont need to add the version etc.)
and this will install opie-wordgame to your sd card.

If you reflash your collie with Hentges (you will need an SD card) and install either MrSquishy's Opera 7.55 (in a past thread) or get mine and do the following you should be able to get opera up and running, not sure about otpkeygen though.
1) Install and link opera-7.55_arm.ipk to sd (Make sure symlinks are created)
2) Run compat libs and link to file "/opt/QtPalmtop/bin/opera"
3) "ln -s /opt/QtPalmtop/opera /usr/share/opera" (this will enable icons)

I got the same error when I tried to install this, and with the 3.5.1 ipk, it complains about missing pacman game files when you try and run xmame.SDL
There was some talk about this in previous posts and someone said they got it working, but I couldn't. Just search for xmame in the OZ forums.
I would like to know of exact instructions to get this working, would be much appreciated.

Well I ran into a problem trying to get back to OZ from this rom, After flashing OZ on power-up I got numerous jffs errors about needing to format that scrolled faster than I could read, I finally out of desperation tried a 3.13 Ospack and my Zaurus atleast boots again.
I'm not sure if I'm going to try my earlier plan of copying OZ kernel modules and re-flashing again if there is a chance of this happening.

If your desperate for it Flash with OZ 3.5.2 Hentges and it comes with snes9x built in and working (http://hentges.net/misc/openzaurus/oz3.5.2-opie1.1.7.shtml). Hentges does have your /home on sd card though so if you dont have one then you wont be able to use it.

I currently have a SL-5500 and want to upgrade to either a C860 or the C3000, im looking toward pricejapan.com to order it but im curious as to where you got ours/how was the service etc.
