It's the latter. We need feedback about the current status of the ROM. It wouldn't make much sense to install old packages, would it?
[div align=\"right\"][a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=70708\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a][/div]
well i have a good configuration right now, so i was basically wondering if i could link my already-installed-to-SD appz or if they would be incompatible.

nm.

Is there any driver source available for this card? If not you may have to get hacking.
[div align=\"right\"][a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=70444\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a][/div]

source? errr.. i have the driver disk.. and there are 2 drivers.. ppc2002(pocketpc) and ppc2003(windows mobile) are the respective folder names.. im hosting the manual and the driver installs [a href=\"http://www.nerdwarfare.com/WL11-SD]HERE[/url]
if you or anyone else wants to, or is willing to  take a look... but i dont think that they include the source...
ive been looking around the ambicom site, and they say that most of their cards work for nix with 3rd party drivers from sourceforge.. searched sourceforge with 0 results.. i emailed ambicom support and asked if the driver source code was available

i hope i can use this thing.. i got it for free from a friend.. and its hella cool

i just read that thread.. bummer.. i have a 5500 guess im shit out of luck <sniff sniff>

i believe that is fixed by installing the service-release-1-oz.ipk from the upgrades feed

ok well, it is kinda working..
it IS mounting the card at boot, but it is giving alot of output, and its not recognizing the correct partition size..
the partition is 512mb, and this can be seen thru fdisk -l and cfdisk /dev/mmcda
Code: [Select]
~# fdisk -l

Disk /dev/mmcda: 512 MB, 512229376 bytes
9 heads, 8 sectors/track, 13895 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 72 * 512 = 36864 bytes

Device Boot      Start         End      Blocks   Id  System
/dev/mmcda1               1       13895      500216   83  Linux
Code: [Select]
  cfdisk 2.12

                             Disk Drive: /dev/mmcda
                         Size: 512229376 bytes, 512 MB
Heads: 9   Sectors per Track: 8   Cylinders: 13895

Name        Flags      Part Type  FS Type          [Label]        Size (MB)
 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    mmcda1                  Primary   Linux ext2                         512.23
but when i type #df , it only tells me that there is 200 something..
Code: [Select]
/dev/mmcda1             236.4M     53.0M    171.2M  24% /media/cardi have attached a copy of the dmesg, so  you can see the output i was talking about..

Here's an updated version which should correct most bugs introduced by the change from /mnt to /media. Please test.
[div align=\"right\"][a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=69523\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a][/div]
so... its not an issue with size of the sd card, or manufacturer? rather, its an issue with the mountpoint? i dont follow how that would inhibit the card from being automounted..

I take it the "mount" command doesn't list mmcdaX mounted at /media/card, right?
