for whoever has problem inputting "/" in X/Qt

use apt-get install xvkbd
it will have a virtual keyboard
so you can input "/" from X

I just bought a 1GB SD recently

I want to move everything (including links and everything) from my 512MB to my 1GB SD without installing them back again

i try dd under Linux
doesn't work


any good suggestion?

Software / Qpe-gaim And Multilang Support

i try qpe-gaim last night
it doesn't work with chinese in the buddy list and the conversation window

i think because it uses the fonts which doesn't support chinese
i have the 'efonts' and i dunno how to force qpe-gaim use efonts

anyone knows a solution to that?

it runs on symbian phone
but i install [java_slc3000_arm.ipk]
and i run :

especially those who is using Cacko 1.23beta (c3k, c1k)

it seems cannot find the /proc file and it will freezes up
i need to manually kill it in order to terminate its freezing states

i bought an Ambicom GPS-CF
and i tried to use it on my C1000
i installed qpeGPS and i download the maps already in png format
i also set it to /dev/ttyS3
the connection between Z and GPS-CF seems working

but i cannot get any location from the GPS
