Angstrom & OpenZaurus / How to add new font to OPIE/OZ?

Hi all,
I want to add my poodle some new fonts. Particularly for Turkish (ş,ö,ü,ğ,ç,ı,İ). While I was using SHARP ROMS, there were several font packs I have downloaded from ZSI. But when I try to install them, they suffered from qpe-base dependancy. I have searched the forum; but I could not find the exact answer. Should I use "makeqpf" to form qpf fonts from a TTF? If so, where should I install the *.gpf in the OPIE/OZ filesystem?
Meanwhile there are a lot *-tr-*.ipk packages in the OPIE feed what are they and how can we use them?

Angstrom & OpenZaurus / OZ 3.5.1 Opie 1.16 SL 5600 Problems

Hi all,
Thanks for the great OZ and Opie images. They quite satisfy my needs.
But I have some ploblems:
1- I can not sync with my win2K box using IntelliSynch. In the first stage my usbbd did not work; after I have run the script Lardman wrote, usb service began to work(actually I could just ping). But I could not run neither Zaurus File Manager nor  IntelliSync. Is there a tutorial for synching in Opie and/or OZ? Since this the first time I use OZ, I need something like that...
2- I have installed OpieReader-1.1.6 from the feed and the gcc3 compiled one from TimW's site. Both have suffered from "No HTMLfilter found". If I try to open any document except Ascii texts(HTML,mobipocket, CHM), OpieReader does give this error on the screen for every tag. I checked whether there is libHTMLfilter or not and found that there is one .   I think there is something wrong about  paths but I could not solve it.
3- After I have installed XMMs there were no mpeg support and I thought that I should libXine and some plugins, after I have installed libXine1 successfully, I could not  install any plug-in, because they suffered that dependency libXine is not there.

Software / Are there any Virtual Monitor Programs for Zaurus?

Hi all,
I have seen one of my friend\'s- actually my Phd. Supervisor\'s (he is a really good man)- PDA(A fujitsu Pocket Loox).  There was a virtual monitor  program. He could change the software resolution just it is changed on regular PCs.  Is there a counter part of this program  in Zaurus World? Meanwhile I have seen keypebble but I think it it for remote connection to a PC.

Sharp ROMs / update.sh. Where can I find?

Hi all,
I t may be too trivial but I could not find the update.sh for Zynergy ROM. The package I have downloaded from timekiller does not contain it?
How can I find it?

Software / PDF,DIVX,HTML Mainly resolution, Fluorescent Lamb

Hi all,
I have receive my new friend SL-5600 on last friday.  It was marvalleous to handle such a thing in your hands. I hope every other geek can feel something similar or better,  by having a Zaurus...  
I have had 3 major reasons to buy a handheld:
1- Organise data. Matches very good,
2- Read some documents and watch  divx,
3- Refresh my Unix/Linux knowledge and programmming.

I have downloaded qpdf2, and mediaplayer0.95/mediaplayer shell, video lan client.
Firstly I could not open videos which are downloaded with  divx 5.11, divx 4.0 and xvid codec whose resolution was 160x120. I have read several ex-posts but could not figure out the problem.

Can you advise on resolution, codec, and program combinations?

Secondly,
I have ınstalled QPDF2  and tried to read \"normal\" pdf. \"normal\" PC-readable pdfs. They are well opened bu t esolution/font size is unfortunately not very satisfactory/readable although the program seems usable.

Should I do a preprosessing on PDF documents?

Thirdly same problem occur on HTML files with OPERA.  So same question on the second item exist.

I use Sharp ROM v1.32 and think to try all the ROMs OZ/Zynergy/Cacko/pdaXrom. Before that I think to be familiar with Sharp ROM. I have downloaded abot 3-4 GB data from Net with webspiders and seems I  need plenty of time to play with my new poddle...

By the way is there two fluorescent lambs for frontlid  LCD or just one at left in SL-5600 models.

Can you start a Türkiye ZUG and edit the Euro Map and nice cute penguin to Turkey. There is at least one Zaurus User in İstanbul. Our welcome message can be:
