I've installed tkcCalander and it's woking fine but now when I receive a beamed appoinment, my SL5600 is automatically putting it in the old resident calander rather than tkcCalander. How do I change this default???
I'm using the Watapon 1.4 ROM

General Discussion / Need A Utility To Clean Up Extranous Files.
« on: January 13, 2005, 07:47:25 pm »
Is there a utility out there that will clean up old files and cache's on a 5600? Files like cookies, kismet search results, web page histories, etc, or do they need to be removed manually? Mostly, interested in recovering some space on the flash memory and some privacy issues too.

Thanks

General Discussion / Anyone Remember The Sharp Wizard
« on: December 17, 2004, 06:56:28 pm »
I was going through my desk drawer and came across my old Wizard OZ9600II with it's whooping 512kb of memory. I seem to remember when they were the thing to have   Mine even has the optional 8 language translator card in case you find youself in Borneo needing a Pepsi.
Anyone else still hanging on to a relic?

Is there a way to get a graphical signal strength with Kismet on a 5600 with the standard Sharp ROM. I've gone into "kismet_ui.conf" and tried to add a column for signal but no sucess.

General Discussion / Wellenreiter install question
« on: June 26, 2004, 04:53:16 am »
Are there an instructions on how to install Wellenreiter on the SL5600 with the standard ROM. I've downloaded all the packages available for the Sharp ROM and installed them using the installer but it doesn't seem to work.
Any Suggestions?

Thanks

General Discussion / I need basic vi editor commands
« on: June 05, 2004, 03:01:03 pm »
I\'m trying to get kismet to work on my SL5600 using the instructions on www.timekiller.org/howtos/kismet-5600.html which looks fairly straight forward but this is my first time using any kind of Linux so I don\'t know how to save the script once its typed, how to get out of vi, etc. Just the simple stuff!!

Thanks

5x00 General discussions / SL5600 - which sniffer program to use?
« on: May 18, 2004, 02:52:59 am »
I just purchased a new SL5600 and am wondering if there are any wireless network sniffering programs that work on the original Sharp ROM or do I need to \"upgrade\" to the OpenZaurus or similar ROM?
Thanks
