Debian / New Desktop Environment - Lxde
« on: March 26, 2008, 04:16:20 pm »
I built the LXDE which consists of pcmanfm, lxsession, lxpanel, gpicview, and lxde.

LXDE is a new project aimed to provide a new desktop environment which is lightweight and fast.  It's not designed to be powerful and bloated, but to be usable and slim enough, and keep the resource usage low.  Different from other desktop environments, we don't tightly integrate every component.  Instead, we tried to make all components independent, and each of them can be used independently with few dependencies.

FIXED

--------------------------
I built the kernel 2.6.24 for eabi debian on Z. These are patched with angstrom patches and without cpufreq. I tested only on C3200. Please give a feedback ASAP.

This kernel works on Cxx00 series.

 - There are the kernels for sharp loader and for uboot.

 - FUSE, serial_cs and ieee80211_crypt_tkip modules work.

---------------------------
Hi, I built kernel 2.6.24-rc7 for debain eabi. It works for my c3200. Maybe it works on c1000(???). Would someone test it on C1000?

Also I uploaded the patch file. Someone interested in rebuilding the kernel, can use it.

Debian / New Kernel 2.6.23.9 For C3100 And C3200
« on: November 29, 2007, 11:43:50 am »
I built new kernel 2.6.23.9 with some patches:
  • patched with angstrom and cpufreq
  • Patch the frequency scaling bug - touchscreen freezing
  • Add FUSE module
  • Add ip_tables related modules
  • AirGate2000C Wireless support
This kernel works for C3100 and C3200 using uboot.

Check: http://yonggun.tistory.com/60

-------------------------------------

I want to build the kernel without uboot for C3000. Can someone tell me how to make the kernel of zImage.bin like angstrom. I built zImage and changed the file name to zImage.bin. Then I tried to install it but it failed.

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Smplayer

2or0, where did you found 0.1.9 ... All I find is 0.1.5 and some date-named version. I want to recompile it for beta3, and to try to use atty's mplayer (not sure if it will work, but want to try it) because it has unknown command line options passed to 'mplayer' executable, and does not work
[div align=\"right\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a][/div]

When you follow the link to forum in project website, you can find the newer version of smplayer ( [a href=\"http://www.phpbbplanet.com/smplayer/viewtopic.php?t=38&mforum=smplayer]http://www.phpbbplanet.com/smplayer/viewto...mforum=smplayer[/url] ). I compiled 0.1.9 twelve hours ago but it is already version 0.1.11.

The smplayer I compiled works well at least on rc121 and mplayer in the feed. If it doesn't work on beta 3 or even lower version, please post it.

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Python Frontend For Mplayer
« on: January 30, 2006, 11:42:28 am »
I found a pygtk frontend for mplayer, pymp. It is simple and easy to use. I compiled and packaged it.

pymp
"Pymp, formerly Gay Media Player, is a GTK2 based interface for the wonderful and ubiquitous MPlayer movie player. It is written in Python, and therefore uses PyGtk. I think that takes care of most of the plugs."

In details, see the project page: http://jdolan.dyndns.org/jaydolan/pymp.html

[span style=\'font-size:12pt;line-height:100%\']kdocker[/span]: http://kdocker.sourceforge.net/

This is similar to "fastload" option in the sharp rom. If you want to always load the program, such as kapi, kopi and so on, this is useful.

KDocker will help you dock any application into the system tray. This means you can dock openoffice, xmms, firefox, thunderbird, anything! Just point and click. Works for all NET WM compliant window managers - that includes KDE, GNOME, Xfce, Fluxbox and many more.

The goal is to enter a number from 1 to 9 in each cell so that each number appears only once in each column and row. In addition, each 3x3 subgrid may only contain one of each number."

If there is no problem, I will do that.
