For Sale / Wanted / For Sale: Smartq Q7 (not V7) – Uk
« on: July 21, 2010, 08:00:08 am »
Sadly I have decided to sell my Q7. I just don’t use it, apart from very occasional eBook use.

UMPC and Chippy have made many videos including this one, by way of example

The device is in perfect unmarked condition with the original box, contents and packaging. In addition I shall include an 8Gb SD card, a snug fit neoprene case and a USB charge cable, i.e. an original USB/PC Xbox360 Power Charger Cable for Wireless Headset

In summary, the device is an excellent eBook and PDF reader with very acceptable web browsing. There are other uses such as music and video player which needs some tweaking to achieve good results but I haven’t spent much time on that.

When I bought it last year the total cost including shipping and UK customs fees totalled £170.

Ubuntu is installed as default and WinCE is available as an option.

PM me if you are interested.

User Request for Applications / Install To Sd Manager
« on: August 13, 2005, 05:56:10 am »
So many apps insist on being installed to Internal Storage that I have no room left.

What I need is a utility akin to Tab Manager which will identify the Internal Storage apps and let me select and move them to SD.

C1000/3x00 General discussions / Reviews

For those of us who are looking out for reviews, you might like to check out this French comment on http://akiba.sorobangeeks.com/revue_32.html

I live in the UK and mains voltage is always a consideration. It seems the 3000 comes with a 110 volt adaptor only. The article provides a link to a World Charger accessory so if you are on 240v that would be another necessary expense to bear in mind.
