Gemini PDA - Hardware / Turning off keyboard sounds?
« on: March 18, 2018, 04:27:26 am »
Hi
I am very happy to have the haptic feedback on the keys but I would prefer that the keys didn't make a noise on pressing them. I can't find a setting to control this under the Android settings. Under the Planet keyboard app I can find the possibility of turning off the keyboard sounds under "Configure" and controlling the keybord volume under "Advanced" but neither seems to work.

Has anyone found a way of muting the keyboard sounds without muting all sounds?

Thanks

Gemini PDA - Hardware / Camera module delivery?
« on: March 11, 2018, 07:15:06 am »
I am trying to use my Gemini as a replacent for my conventional "slab" phone. So far it seems to work pretty well though I am really missing my forward facing camera. Does anyone know when the optional camera modules will be delivered? Until then I might go back to my old phone for primary use.

Thanks

Gemini PDA - Android / Connecting Gemini to laptop
« on: March 06, 2018, 05:24:02 am »
As well as having issues connecting my Gemini to a TV using the HDMI adaptor, I am also having problems with that simplest of tasks, connecting to my laptop. The Gemini recongises that it is plugged in, I select the "transfer files" option but the Gemini refuses to appear as a drive in the Windows file manager.

EDIT:
I have sucessfully connected to a laptop running Linux Mint. Could there be a driver issue in Windows (8.1)?

Help appreciated.

Gemini PDA - Hardware / microSD file system
« on: March 05, 2018, 06:27:57 am »
Hi

I have tried a 128GD exFAT microSD in my Gemini but its not recognised and asks me to format it. I am not keen as it contains data. Does anyone know the file system that Gemini needs for storage? FAT32?

Gemini PDA - Android / Using HDMI adaptor under Android
« on: March 05, 2018, 05:49:36 am »
Hi
I am trying to mirror my Gemini to my TV using the HDMI adaptor but I can't get it to work. The best I get is for the Gemini to recognise that the adaptor is plugged in, but my TV simply shows an "Out of Range" message at all its display settings. It may be a video resolution issue but the Gemini only offers an auto video resolution option with no way to vary it.

Suggestions appreciated. Thanks

Hi,

I am not if this has been answered, but can anyone confirm the size of microSD that the Gemini will support?

Thanks
