Hi Everyone !

First happy birthday new year !

I'm actually selling my Zaurus.
It's in good condition. I have bougth it thinking I need a PDA but at the end, I don't need this utility ...

So there is all the original accessories give in the package : stylus, usb cable, a CD-ROM, the japanese manual.

In addition i give :
- a bag to carry your Z
- a 512MO sd-card (simple-tech, it's an industrial sd-card made to have a bigger life time )

The price is 250€!

I live in France. If you are french i accept cash and cheque.
For the other, i accept paypal !

Hi everyone !

I have recently discovered dokuwiki : http://wiki.splitbrain.org/wiki:dokuwiki

As you can think it's a wiki ! But you doesn't need a data-base to use it !

And i have tried to install it on my Z C1000 . I have try the two version of apache in the main feed.
The first work but the version of php is too old ...
The second work but in php the "glob" function is missing ...

So is there any chance to make dokuwiki work on my Z ?

C1000/3x00 General discussions / E17 Installation

Hello everybody !

I have installed E17 on my Ubuntu desktop edgy and i want to do the same on my C1000.

First
I have done some search on the forum. There is some post about E17 but i don't know if it is up to date.

So i think pdaxrom would be the best choici to install E17. But which version ? rc12 ? 1.1.0r121 ?

Second
i have found this website for the package of e17 :

so where can i found more up to date package without rcompiling ?

Sharp ROMs / What's Wrong With Elsix ?

I recently want to update my cacko with the package store on elsix!

i have enter this url for feeds : http://www.elsix.org/feeds/
And it doesn't work at all ! i have pointed to it with a navigator and see there is some error of permission ...

So what can i do?
must i install manually package and browse entirely this website to found good package?

France / Projet : Wifi Et Bluetooth Intégré

Bonjour à tous,

Content de voir qu'il y a une section où ma langue natale est présente !!  

Hum j'ai actuellement un C1000 et je voudrais y intégrer le wifi et le bluetooth. Il ne me manque que cela !!!

Mon idée est directement puisée sur le forum : installer un dongle usb Wifi/Bluetooth !

Hélas je n'ai aucune connaissance pratiques en électonique ...

Dnc si quelqu'un peut m'aider je suis preneur !!  

Je suis  du Pas-De-Calais !! (oui un ch'ti !!! Non je ne supporte pas le Racing club de Lens ... j'aime pas le foot !)

Voilà voilà, qu'en pensez vous et quelqu'un pourrait-il m'aider ??

I have cacko full 1.23 on a c1000 installed. I just want to list all the package installed.
Not even that i have manually installed, but all the package !

If it not possible can you tell me what is the differences between cacko full and lite.
Ihave search a document who mention all the difference but i failed.

Angstrom & OpenZaurus / Usb Networking Under Windows

Hi everyone,

I try to have netwok with usb under windows XP pro since a few week. But all my try failed.

When i put the usb cable, Windows ask me some drivers for rndis/ethernet gadget, so i have made some search on google and this forum. I have found a linux.inf file who seems to be the right way.

But when i plug the usb cable, windows reconize the zaurus like a new rj45 connection, so i can do network ... bu this connection is not actvated and never want to be ! when i try to activated it it trow : "failed"

on the zaurus i have do that :
modprobe g_ether
modprobe usbnet
ifup usb0

I have try to do thaht before and after plugging usb cable but it's still the same problem.

So how can i do networking under windows with opie ??

I have a little problem with my cacko, sometimes i have sound and most of time NOT ...

this is really bad because i wnt to use sound as alarm with kopi and even for listen mp3 ...

Hi!

I have a Zaurus C1000 and i just want to have Wifi and BlueTooth at the same time.
I have seen on th forum that some guys succed in!

but me i'm just an analyst/developper, so i don't have any knowledge in electronic's ...

So it is possible for me to add this feature to my Zaurus?

Perhaps there is a hack or something ...

I see the image but with the last release it's not here ...

But in the feed, some package relative to Enlightenment are there ...

I try to install the package but now i can't restart gpe !

And you what do you do about Enlightenment?

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Cpu Scaling

Hi everyone!

I wonde if there is any applet for pdaxrom like the power saving applet for cacko rom?!

The cpu ofthe Zaurus have the ability of power saving?

i know i can underclock or overclock. So it could be very interesting that the Zaurus can underclock itself.

If it can't because of CPU scaling not supported there is another way : create an applet like the powersaving applet on cacko!

what do you think about it?

Software / Which Rom Is The Best For Me ?

Hi everyone,

First i have to thank all people who hold the Zaurus alive in other country than Japan.
You're the best guys!

Well, i'm quite lost with the rom : i have to make a choice, but i can't test all the rom because it take me a lot of time and also my pda won't help in my job along this time.

I have tested cacko, i think it's a good rom for PIM. But i want to developp (if it possible ...  ) on the Zaurus and have more applications.

So i test pdaXrom, that's quit good but i have a problem with power drain. See my post in the appropriate section. And on pdaXrom pim applications won't work ...

So now i'm lost ...

I just want :
- PIM
- developpment (if possible)
- a unix/linux like environment (X11 if possible)
