5x00 General discussions / Has Anyone Loaded Qtopia 2.1.2?

So far it looks sweet.  I got the lead from Axim on the following thread

I flashed it with out any hiccups.  How many other people? have this loaded?  I couldn't find any other threads about this for 5500/5600 Z's.

I remember they used to come out with software periodically for the 5500.  However with the clamshell models especially the CXXXX series I haven't heard much from them.  Any one know anything? I felt like they stimulated the market here and there.

Sharp ROMs / Opera 7.55 Will Not Start

When I start Opera from the Network Tab on my C1000 w/ Cacko 1.23 it comes up for a brief second then terminates.  

When I start it from Konsole it give me

And works fine.    

The only thing I changed was uninstalled pdaXqtrom-base and apps and reloaded it with the newer version from Meanie's site. (which works great for gnumeric)

I'm not sure what to search for next.    

Any help would be appreciated.

5x00 General discussions / Anyone Retire Their 5500 For A Server Service?

I'm looking to upgrade my best pal for a 3000 however didn't want the 5500 just sitting in a drawer.  Has anyone setup a service with their Z?  With the small footprint decent processing power I would imagine setting up something like an access point, DHCP server, router, or maybe even running something powerful like a VoIP asterisk service.  Just want to get ideas from people.
