Cosmo Communicator - Android / New v21 Problem

The only significant issue I am having with V21 is the occasional dropped call. When this happens the main screen and CoDi turn off. I believe the device may still be on because my Cosmo requires a long press of the  ESC/On to reboot. Otherwise this update seems to be much more stable than V20 where I noticed much of the same problematic behavior as other users.

I just got the last early bird contribution right now. Contribution ID 2393 April 15th 20:46 EST. I've just now caught stride with my Cosmo and I believe PC can take this even farther with the Transformer. We need unique devices that can connect us now more than ever.

Has anyone managed to tap pay with their Cosmo while closed? Payment works great but i need to have it unlocked with the device open.

Cosmo Communicator - General Discussion / Car mount

I live in Canada and my car mount status was listed as "fulfilled" as of January 14th. Can anyone else give me an idea of time in transit that i can expect? I expect it is being sent by surface from Hong Kong.

Thanks! i'll check that out.

Nova launcher has worked for me. Initially I just worked around it by putting all my icons & stuff on screens 2-n, and left the screen 1 alone with it's ugly search bar and never took a look at it.

Same here, i really like a tidy desktop so i was using the second screen. Nova is working great, i've only played around for a few minutes with it. As a Cosmo owner for less than a month I can't convey enough how much a positive experience with the device relies on customizing to personal preference.

As far as I know, the only way of doing this is using a different launcher. I'm using Nova launcher, which has a free and a paid version. This comes with a lot of nifty extras as well. Recommended

Cosmo Communicator - Android / Google Search Bar

Has anyone been able to remove the Google Search Bar from the Desktop? I have gone through the process of removing it based on generic steps for most android devices without success. I am left with a black bar that says "search".
I would love to clean up the desktop and make room for apps and widgets, and enjoy my background.

Unfortunately the right USB port doesn't seem to charge for me.

Same for me, I have only used the left USB port for charging. the device does not seem to accept charge on the right side using USB from my computer or the charging brick. First full charge my cosmo got fairly warm during the charging process. Since then i have not noticed any elevated temperature during charging.
