As a side note, I\'ve also noticed this issue with non-compatible versions of the zImage and the ROM. For instance, I once flashed a tkcROM with a OZ kernel, and received the same result you\'re seeing. Flash with the OZ zImage and ROM and you should be good to go. FWIW, I like the newest TKC rom a lot.

Any experience as to the fastest memory card for the Zaurus? Is it CF or SD? And which brand might I look for?

Believe it or not, I found the best time was @1:30am EST. But it\'s still very sporadic as to what night it actually appears.

Just got the SL-5600/camera package from HSN. It\'s a PXA255 unit according to the box. Will d-check with cpuinfo once I get it up and running.

I was actually the other Guest. However, you can install a terminal program, like this one:

Once installed, you can start the program and type:
cat /proc/cpuinfo
at the command prompt.
You\'ll want to install and access this program anyway as you dig around the Zaurus and Linux.
