For Sale / Wanted / [wtb] Sharp Zaurus 3200

I'm looking to buy a Zaurus 3200 to pass my spare time again with.
I guess tell me if you're willing to sell and what price you want for it and we can go from there.
Oh and also if it comes with anything like cf card or wifi card.

Im located in Australia too so a postage cost rough estimate would be handy

Sharp PC-Z1 NetWalker / Which To Buy?

I'm leaning more towards the PC-T1 because it has the bluetooth. But I hear the downside is the unit itself is a bit chunky from youtube video I saw.
Is the keyboard pretty hard to use on the PC-Z1?

What's your opinions and why?

Hi,

I'm selling my Zaurus. It's not really getting much use lately. Included in the sale will be a cf wireless card, sd card (512mb), the mains adaptor, a pentopia stylus. The unit has no scratches on it has been kept in very good condition. Currently running Debian 4.0 EABI. But I can put on a ROM of your choosing if you so desire.

I'm looking for $350-$400 AUD. Postage will be calculated depending on where I have to send to.

Brisbane / 4 Zaurus Owners At Humbug

At our Humbug meeting tonight there was a 2 x sl-c3100 1 x sl-c3000 1 x SL5500.

And we see about 3 EEE PC's here too.

Sharp ROMs / Sharp Rom 1.02

Hi All,

Just wondering how one gets back to the oringal Sharp ROM say so I can play with Cacko again.
I downloaded all the files off Trisoft.de but there is no .bin file to boot from so I could not work out how to restore back to factory image.

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Pdaxii13 Build 5.4.9

Hi All,

I have a netgear ma701. My home network wifi ap uses wpa-psk2. Is this supported?
As since owning the zaurus I have not yet been able to find a wireless network.
Are only open networks supported? Or is WEP the only protocol supported on any ROM?

Are there any roms which support WPA-PSK2 and have an irc/web/email client.

Or is there something I should be doing to get wpa-psk2 to work in pdaXrom build 5.4.9.

Another problem i've found with pdaXrom both the beta3 version and pdaXii3 is that it seems to suspend and the only way to get it working is to restart.
I never had this issue with Cacko but I like the software installed by default on pdaXrom.

Any help appreciated.

Software / Cacko Rom Sl-c3100

Will Cacko run the following:

BitchX?
Xchat?
OpenSSH-client
Kismet
Firefox
Thunderbird

Or do I need to be using a different ROM. I only just received my Zaurus today and it came with Cacko preinstalled.

Software / Question About Xchat On A Zaurus

I saw on a site http://ipkgfind.handhelds.org that it's possible to have Xchat on i'm guessing a zaurus.
The site doesn't say what devices the downloads are for but does anyone know the answer to this?

Windows Issues / Windows Vista & Zaurus Sl-c3100

Hi all,

Anyone have a Windows Vista machine that they connect they're Zaurus to? Are they're any known problems in connecting the device to vista.
I am about to purchase my first zaurus and was just curious as most posts I see in the forum are related to Windows XP.
