Zaurus - pdaXrom / Japanese Support/input Method

hi zaphod!
The im-ja packages are out of date.. you just have to install the packages uim, anthy and japanese-fonts from pdaxrom.sourceforge.jp/feed or alternatively zaurus.spy.org/feeds/jabbath/rc5

..

that's all  now in every of your gtk2 apps you should be able to input japanese by selecting japanese input method with the rightmousebuttonmenu..

Hi!
1.Has anybody this card (Haicom HI-302) ?
I really need some help, getting this card to work on pdaXrom

2. Does anybody know, how to get gpsdrive, work like on ipaqs (gpe) ?
The window is way too large for the zaurus' VGA display..

Hi!
I compiled a bunch of packages for >=rc5, also stardict:

Eventhough they don't have any info or dependencies entered in the control file, they're usable.. So if you get any problems starting a program, just install the library that is missing or post and wait for help

Well.. You are using pdaxrom 1.0.5 or RC3, right?
The problem, at least for me, just appeared with >=RC5..

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Socket Card Stuck In Suspended Mode

Hi! I own a ASUS WL-110 .. Since the card uses a different chip, I don't know, if this is of any use:

I also have the problem, that when I insert my card, the status light begins to blink, the panel applet shows the card as inserted and then it stops blinking.
cardmgr seems to setup the card (that's the reason, the status light lights up).
But then, there are these "eth0: Error -110 setting multicast list." errors, followed by a "pxa_pcmcia_supspend(0)" .. I tried a while, to get this "script" to mount the card manually:

Hi!
I figured out, that it's a problem with the feed's Packages file. The names of the newer packages have a space on the end. So, running a "sed 's, $,,'" on the packages file should do it..

Could you show me your configuration?
 .. maybe it's just a bad audio codec or something alike..
Tried it about a month ago with <rc5 and there was the same problem as today.. :-/

Hi! I compiled the console and the GUI version, but neither of them works. I don't know where the problem is, but just snippets of audio data are transferred from Zaurus to PC :-?

I downloaded the newest linphone version and compiled it with these options:
LDFLAGS="-Wl,-rpath-link,/opt/arm/3.3.2-vfp/armv5tel-cacko-linux/X11R6/lib" ./configure --host=armv5tel-cacko-linux -build=i686-linux --x-includes=/opt/arm/3.3.2-vfp/armv5tel-cacko-linux/X11R6/include --x-libraries=/opt/arm/3.3.2-vfp/armv5tel-cacko-linux/X11R6/lib&&make

I didn't test your version, but I expect it to have the same problem.. (not able to test it now, but will soon )

Nope, that's incorrect.

I tried some of my programs originally compiled for 1.0.5 rc2,3 etc. and they ran fine.

I thought, for the "performance boost", the programs had to be recompiled.. :-??

Where's the problem?
Just run
"xrandr -s 320x240&&prboom&&xrandr -s640x480"
(create script or whatever)..

It runs fine.

Hi! I compiled gimp-1.3, since gimp2 depends on gtk-2.4, while the gtk library included with pdaXrom is just gtk-2.2(or 2.0.. don't know)..
