Hi Geometer, I liked the new reader, but I can´t set the paths for the books, the mine are quite all in g-zip. Samething for the info about the books.
May you help me please?

The path is :/usr/mnt.rom/cf/Documents/application/x-gzip

General Discussion / KOPI and dtm PIM

When I installed the KOPI v.1.7.7 in my SL 5500 v.3.13 ROM, everything with KOPI is ok, but I can´t open the calendar PIM, why?. I would like to be able to have the two options. Any help? Thanks

Thanks again.- Really I am waiting for the version 2.0, I don´t feel sure If I have some problem. I profit for asking you: The last version 1.9.7 i.e KO-KA/PIM may be upload and work in the SD card with sufficient speed? or is better leave it in RAM.I think that the mail using the IR port and e celular phone must exhaust the battery. Did you see my other post about syncing (copying backup.ics to the desktop and loading it in desktop KOPI, the program says every data will be lost but in fact it is not so). I wait your help and I am very gratefull for your kindness.

Thankyou very much for your help, the version of KOPI I use is  1.7.7, but the icon that I said to explode is that of the custom calendar... Nevertheless I resolved to reboot the machine because I think it is necessary from time to time... and as you said it solved the problem.
I also use the code you send to me and KOPI open normally. So I´m learning a little more, thanks again

Hi Tumnus, I use the KOPI PIM in my SL 5500 ROm v3.13, but why I can´t use at the same time the calendar PIM,it explodes but not open .Of course it is not needed at all, but....

Software / Syncing KOPI

Now that I´m seeing zautrix in the forum I would like to say that I make the sync with the desktop, uploading the mybackup.ics in the folder korganizer and after uploadind this backup with the program open. It advise that the data will be lost but really it is not so. I have made many experiences.

Thankyou captain-emo and others, but I think that we must go in the line of ssh-scp. KOPI has a how to do docu writed by Detlev Reymann about \" secure connections between GNU/Linux-and Windows-computers using ssh-with special consideration of the Sharp Zaurus. I confess that for me that beguins in Linux and ssh it is being a little difficult. But with a little more time we´ll arrive there. Who knows if zautrix don´t help....Thanks to everybody again.

Software / Syncing Kopi

Of course ftp does´nt function on Zaurus 5500 with the 3.13 ROM, I would like the help of someone for sincronizing with the KOPI on windows.
The only form to do it, for now... is to get the mybackup.ics that appears clearly in the CF card, and via the Zaurus file transfer,  drag and drop it to the Korganizer folder, then I can sync via file..load calendar backup.
I think this is not a smart manner of making things.
I saw in the How to section that the communication with windows is via samba...but i\'m lost.
Any help please.Tia

Thankyou very much for your rapid response.I´ll try to do what you say. I see de ics file in the filesystem, but, because I´m not an expert will try what is a system command.
Excuse me for mention the old Zaurus 3500, it was not an offensive neither ambiguos thing...

Hi zautrix: I´m following your great work, now my Pim is KOPI!, wich by coincidence have the same format of the ancient Zaurus 3500. I´m trying to sync with the windows version, but I can´t do it via usb. I would like to bore you a bit...and ask to you give me a hand. Thanks a lot

Software / QTJournal don´t work

Thanks V-Man for the help, I uploaded newly the two programs for correcting eventuals corruptions. Installed first the qpe-libqtopia in Ram and after the QTJournal also in Ram.The things are the same.....well, I suppose that QTJournal don´t functions in my machine due to some kind of setup that I´m no prepared for correct.(when I launch from the terminal I have the same response that you know} I´ll work with other type of programs like Notezaurus or Portabase and ok. I can´t take more time from you and from offoadkeek....I beg your pardon and thanks to you for the dedication. I am learning very much in this forum, I feel at home here...thanks
