Yes and you can use 'zdbat' to read/write from/to the binary database files. I used it to write a small Palm to Zaurus Pim converter ( http://ldrolez.free.fr/software/zaurus/ ).

Cheers,

Can you use zdbat to turn these databases into a tab/comma separated text file?

You can also use dtm2xml to read and write in XML format.

I'm not very technical

All I really want to do is extract the sharp pim data to a spreadsheet or csv

Hiya,

I've tried mikew's suggestion and there is still a problem

I still have to hold shift down to get a comma and if I press space after the comma I still get an |

Is there something wrong with my keyhelper file now?

Did the arm board help with OOo?

Hiya Coredump,

Just curious will you be updating Hentges again? Hope so!

Most of the 'too long' is caused by only having 64MB ram, so getting a board with 256MB will speed up compiling c++ and java stuff *a lot* since you can avoid swapping to CF/SD.
I also have enough other ARM boards and devices to make running distcc usefull

The board will be used to work on native stuff for Ångström and OE.

Sounds like you're almost salivating at the thought of getting your hands on it!

OOo has alreadby been noted and is being worked on. I should be receiving an ARM board with 256MB ram next week so I can do a native build

Forgive my repeated ignorance, as I'm curious about how this works. Why would you need an ARM board?

You can't really crosscompile OOo, since that buildsystem is a mess. I also spotted some hardcoded /usr/include entries, so building it natively would be easier and 'safer' from a purist POV.

I'm guessing it would take way too long to do natively on a Z?

Can you use the board for other things? Will it be of long term benefit to other projects?

Will this change interfere with the code in cacko's key helper which is meant to swap the forward slash and comma about?

that would explain why it died a death if it even happened.

Hey there

I remember once a long time ago reading somewhere that someone was thinking of creating a gentoo for the Z. Or even a source based distro for the Z. Would probably take a millenia for the Z to compile anything natively I'd imagine. Gentoo takes days all by itself to set up.

Is this still happening or did it die a death?

Thanks

This has been a problem with , ? and / keys on every english version of Cacko.

I've no issues with my questionmark key. Just the comma and forward slash.
Does this still apply?
