Yes, that's true for 5500 ROM. BUT, there are a couple of experimental Cacko Hybrid ROMs that you may want to check out before you decide. Even if you stay with default Sharp ROM, I suggest to upgrade the kernel - it provides a few benifits.

Hybrid as in the Cacko/Crow rom?  Might give that a go then.  Many thanks

Hi Guys,

As a newbie I am trying to find a rom I like, TKC has been good so far, though I thought I would give cacko ago, though the links appear to be dead from zug?  Is the rom dead?  Saw the cacko/crow from, though I really don't like the Sharp UI, looks poo.

Hmm, the experimental part puts me off.  I dont want a load of messing about to have a working Z.  Think I may continue to look around unless anyone else has further comments.

I recommend the CACKO/CROW ROM.  VERY similiar to sharp with the big difference being os/home is on SD card and non volitile.

Very compatible with Sharp 3.10 apps

Great for:
Movies, games, music, pim, etc, etc.

Many thanks for the advice though I dont have a SD/MMC card   I do like the look of OZ, so I suppose this would be a factor going back to an aged looking UI as Sharp.  Am I just being fussy?  Just want a snazzy look UI and a stable rom so I can use the damn thing

Is there any other benefits of going to Cacko/crow aparty fromSD card thing?
