I need to know..

1. How much ram still available after installing kde?
2. Do i need to enable swap for kde?

I just wanted to use kdepim...

Overall, the 1.1.0beta1 looks good. Firefox startup faster when started for the second time.
All the other WM works fine.

Problem: WindowMaker brighness function doesn't work...

Need to more testing...

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Alarms With Kdepim/pi For Rc12 Sl-c3100

i'm having some problem with the ko/pi alarm on my C1000...

I followed the instruction provided by cattin

1. all the files are in the appropriate directory and executable..
2. Alarm works when my Z is running ko/pi
3. The alarm doesn't work when i off the Z or suspend the Z. But when i on the Z later, the alarm pops up.

Any idea on how to make the alarm work when the Z is in suspend mode?

I've added all the missing libraries like

1. libHTMLfilter*.so
2. libflite*.so
3. libpluckerdecompress*.so

I've included all pgas pics and all the missing pics ..

please update the package.. if you think u're missing some of the above libraries..

I've a bit of problem managing the power management in my Z..

I set auto standby on battery mode at 30 minutes..
But sometimes , i wanted to listen to mp3... and i want to temporarily disable the standby mode until i close the application or if the xmms is inactive (songs end)... for 3 minutes..
If i leave the auto standby on battery mode at 0 .. then i have to manually set the Z to standby when the songs finish which is very troublesome...

I use kino in sharp rom before... i work great..
But XMMS lack of this feature...

Is kino2 can be ported to pdaxrom?

Any idea... Thanx

I found a couple of bugs. The "zoom in" and "page down" icons do not appear in the toolbar. A space for them is creating on the toolbar, and pressing the space yields the desired action.

I've compiled the opie-reader version 0.7j.
The source code was send to me by Tim..

This is a great piece of software... simple and support lots of codecs..

Note: Please run opie-reader instead of uqtreader..

This is because the reader require READERDIR environment... so the opie-reader is just a simple script...

FLite codec is not enable yet... since i haven't compile the flite on pdaxrom..

Feel Free to try the software... and share your comments...

Zaurus - pdaXrom / [need Help] Dosbox Cvs Compilation...

Can someone look at how to patch the SDL part... SDL overlay using BVDD doesn't seem to work..

The cross compilation works fine... on my desktop...
Dosbox runs fine after compilation... version 0.63 some have problem... but the cvs work fine..

It runs pretty decently when i disable the sound... and SDL overlay... doesn't seem to work...
If someone can fix the SDL overlay and patch the sound... i think we can make recent dosbox to run decently..

Attached is a zip file of the dosbox cvs checkout...

You need to run ./autogen.sh from your desktop to generate the appropriate files...
